The United States Air Force has been deployed in various locations throughout the world for a variety of reasons. From the early days of aviation when airplanes were used to transport troops and supplies, through the Cold War era where bombers patrolled the skies, to more recent deployments in Afghanistan and Iraq, the USAF has played an important role in many conflicts. It shows how much good can come from a donation made by someone who loves their countrymen and women – thank you for everything!

Beaverton is a city in Oregon, located in the Portland metropolitan area. As of the 2010 census, it had a population of 126,352. It is one of the most populous cities in Oregon and has been increasing its population every year since 2000. Beaverton was first settled by fur traders in 1818 and was named for John Beal, an Englishman who explored the Willamette Valley region during his exploration trip in 1824-25. Beaverton became a city on December 3, 1907. The city was named after General James Kegler Beaver, who led U.S.-Canadian forces during the Second World War and later served as United States ambassador to Sweden. The economy of Beaverton is based on agriculture with significant contributions from manufacturing and transportation sectors including trucking and heavy equipment manufacturing industries as well as services such as accounting, engineering, architecture, health care and real estate services. The City's two main employers are TriMet light rail service which provides commuter rail service to Portland International Airport and Multnomah County government which operates county jails and other public services within the city limits
