Over time, Dooley's Coffee House increased its popularity among locals and attracted tourists from all over town. In 1964, John Dooley passed away at age 86 years old. The ranch prospered until 1880 when it was seized by Ulysses S Grant during his tenure as General Order No. 10 which revoked all patents held by Native American tribes throughout America on public lands including those within Indian Territory - a move that foreshadowed Manifest Destiny policies later pursued by US president Abraham Lincoln
