In Weatherford, small batch coffee has been cultivated and processed by local farmers since 1903. Today, small batch coffee is an important part of the community's cultural heritage, and it continues to be enjoyed by local residents and businesses alike. The history of smallbatch coffee in Weatherford can be traced back to 1903 when George Weatherford opened his first grocery store in the town. In that year, weather conditions were so unfavorable for growing beans that he decided to sell only pre-packaged beverages instead. However, this decision didn't last long; within a few years, George had started selling both pre-packaged and whole bean coffees from his store. By 1913, George had become one of the leading figures in the early development of smallbatch coffee in America. Today, tiny batches of whole bean coffees are still being processed in George Weatherford's old grocerystore building – where locals still enjoy their favorite drink! In fact, many people consider it one of the town's most important municipal amenities – because without it, most residents would not be able to afford quality cup of Joe every day! Some historians even believe thatGeorge's success as a grocer led him to develop later into what we today call "smallbatch Coffee." In 1969 (just five years after he died), weatherfaxnews reported on an event which helped spread awareness about smallbatch coffee: When two unusual looking sacks turned up at an auction house located several miles outside of town - they belonged to Mr & Mrs Whetstone who lived just down the street from Mr Weatherforton on Artesian Wells Road - everyone assumed they were new tokens from some unknown source (i). They were not - they were novelty items from The Daily Oklahoman newspaper which had recently moved into its new building adjacent to Walmart -- destined for its weekly bagel market spot inside that Walmart! Seeing as how all other newspapers across America carried ads promoting their own daily bagels (with no mention whatsoever about 'coffee'), The Oklahoman must have been doing pretty well too... or so they thought! It wasn't until someone sent photographer Jerry Rafferty down onto Artesian Wells Road with some equipment specifically designed just for taking pictures at auction houses like this one that they realized these things weren't just any old cups - these were bona fide original pieces made right here in Oklahoma City by some very talented individuals who happened to live nearby... including future Mayor Phil Neal! What followed was perhapsthe biggest publicity stunt ever pulled off against another city during those days... but also something which quickly caught on with other nearby businesses who got wind of what was happening and began importing their own bags full of venerable old Turkish Koffee straight from Turkey itself!!!

Weatherford is a small town in Oklahoma, located on the border of Haskell County and Kiowa County. The population was 7,627 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Tulsa metropolitan area. The community began as a trading post on the confluence of the Arkansas and Canadian Rivers in 1885. It became a settlement in 1907 when the railroad built its line through central Oklahoma. A post office was founded in Weatherford in 1907, and remained open until it was discontinued in 1951. The first town meeting occurred on July 6, 1907, and approval to form a town was granted by an election held two days later. In 1908, weatherological trials were conducted at Weatherford to determine whether or not water power could be developed for irrigation purposes; permission to build a dam was given two years later. In 1911-12, a school district was created with $1,500 from local citizens; it provided education until 1956 when the state took over operation of schools under Title I of the Elementary Education Act of 1965. A new school building was completed in 1912; it served as both county courthouse and School Board offices until 1978 when it became home to Commerce University (now known as Tulsa Community College).
