Owasso, Oklahoma is a small town located in Noble County, Oklahoma. It was founded in 1907 by the Removal Company of Owasso. The company removed Native American people from their land to create new settlements. In 1927, the townsite was bought by the United States government and annexed into Tulsa. By 1941, Owasso had a population of 705 residents. The town experienced an economic turnaround during World War II due to the production of aircraft parts at nearby Tulsa Airport. However, as oil became more important in the economy, Owasso declined in importance until the late 1990s when it regained some prominence as a bedroom community for Tulsa metropolitan area workers. Today, Owasso has a population of just under 1000 residents and is known for itsartisan coffee shops and restaurants.

In 1970, the business closed while owner Art Smith was serving a prison sentence. However, within a few months of his release, he reopened the Coffee House as an all-day coffee shop. In 1977, Art Smith's son Artie opened Owasso's second coffee shop called The Koffee Klatch. This business served fresh roasted beans and delicious cupcakes every day from 7am to 6pm. It was also home to one of the first espresso machines in town! In 1989, Artie and his wife Chantel moved their business to an upstairs unit at 9th and Lincoln Streets after purchasing it from their father’s previous business partner John Hines. The store continued to serve amazing cupcakes until 1993 when they sadly lost interest in continuing operation due to health concerns (Chantel passed away in 2001). In 1995, Bob and Pam Wilson opened their own bakery next door at 12th and Lincoln Streets where they continue to sell delicious cupcakes along with great breakfast items for those who are looking for something more substantial during the morning hours! They have been running their bakery ever since! In 2007 they added a vegan section which has been really popular!
Owasso is a small town in Oklahoma, located about 30 miles northwest of Tulsa. The population was 3,521 at the 2010 census. Owasso is part of the Muskogee County School District. The townsite was founded by English settlers in 1881 as a post office named Owasso. In 1907, it was renamed for General W. H. Owenson, United StatesArmy general during World War I and another namesake of Muskogee County who also served in that conflict. The community had its peak population in the 1920s when around 1,000 people lived there; however, this number decreased over time due to various factors such as an economic slump and the Great Depression which caused many residents to leave the area for greener pastures elsewhere. Rather than giving up on their small town status and reducing services or employment opportunities to support a larger population, many residents chose to keep their businesses open while they struggled through tough times - something that has been common throughout Muskogee County since its inception numerous years ago! Today, Owasso remains a vibrant community with active businesses and cultural attractions – including several dozen restaurants and bars – as well as an annual Oktoberfest celebration complete with beer gardens and live music events that draw thousands of visitors each year from all over Oklahoma!

Coffee houses soon became popular meeting places where people could discuss politics, business affairs, or other important topics over cups of hot chocolate or espresso shots (or both!). In 1795, Dutchman Nieuwenhuizen patented a process for decaffeinating coffee which allowed him to sell his product all over Europe at low prices without having to worry about quality control or marketing regulations! This innovation helped make Dutch coffee one of the most popular types around! During World War II, many Europeans enlisted in military service and took advantage of caffeine-rich drinks like Dunkin' Donuts Java Bombs (a blend made from java beans mashed with powdered milk) to stay alert during combat deployments overseas! After the war ended, many soldiers returned home China looking for opportunities for economic growth so they could provide for their families back at home! Owasso was founded in 1907 by a group of settlers from Illinois. The town was named for the Owasso River, which ran through the area. The settlers started a cotton gin and mill in the town and began to grow crops. In 1912, Owasso became an independent municipality. In 1915, Owasso residents voted to add a school to their municipal government. The first Owasso School opened in 1917. In 1922, Owasso annexed the neighboring city of Elk City. In 1930, Owasso voters passed a resolution calling for the state legislature to declare Oklahoma an Indian Country pursuant to the Dawes Act. The resolution failed to receive enough signatures to be put into effect. However, it served as a reminder ofOWASSO's connection with Native Americans and its history as an IndianCountry community. During World War II, manyOWASSO residents volunteered for military service and joined various units throughout the war effort. ManyOWASSO residents also worked in agricultural businesses while they were military servicemen or women. After the war ended, many OWASSO residents returned to their homes and businesses; however, some continued to serve in local government until they were replaced by new mayors in 1959 and 1968 respectively.. The Owasso Indian Reservation was created in 1907. The reservation was named for the town of Owasso, Oklahoma, which was founded in 1881 by white settlers. In 1920, the tribe ceded its remaining land to the United States government. The reservation is now divided into four villages: Beaver Creek Village, Cloudcroft Village, Grissom Village, and Mustang Village.
