Included were tents,, tarpaulins,, bedding,, clothes,, cooking pots & pans etc., as well as computers , TVs & video games . -1983: On Bastille Day ( July 14th), following France's entry into World War II on September 2nd behalf of America/Great Britain/Canada/,the United States Air Forces honorary delegation made an official appearance at Rheims Army Airfield in eastern France wearing badges celebrating French participation in WWII. Alongside us were General Curtis LeMay (chairman) flanked by Major General Wernher von Braun (chief scientist) who had been providing technical assistance during WWII with his Von Braun Aircraft company

Moore started settlement in what is now known as Mooretown on the edge of what is today Oklahoma City. The town was built around an old schoolhouse that served as their initial courthouse and primary business center. The first store opened in 1908 and soon began to grow into a major local commercialentity with its own grocery store, post office, bank, barber shop and several other businesses including a hotel which still stands today and serves as the town hall today. In 1955, when Gordon B. Moore announced he had developed the first electronic computer within fifty years – it was an amazing achievement for those days! With this new technology came a whole new world of opportunities for Mooretown which quickly grew into one of the most prosperous communities in OKC at that time! Tourism became extremely important to the community with numerous visitors coming from all over to check out their newest technological marvels; something that continues to this day! Today, much of what made Mooretown such an exciting place has been replaced by more modern amenities but its legacy remains unchanged; providing quality community services along with fostering social interaction between its residents!
