Edmond, Oklahoma is known as the "Gourmet Coffee Capital of the World." The city was founded in 1907 by a group of entrepreneurs who wanted to provide a top quality coffee experience to their customers. Today, Edmond's coffee scene is one of the most vibrant and well-respected in the United States. The first grocery store in Edmond was opened by J.C. Penney in 1907. Over time, other businesses followed suit and the city became home to one of the largest grocery stores in America, Grocery Outlet Company, which continued to operate until it closed its doors in 1988. In 1959, two businessmen named Harry and John Moffitt opened what would become Mr. Coffee & Co., one of Tulsa's earliest gourmet coffee houses. The business quickly became wellknown for its high-quality coffee products and kept up its reputation for excellence even after moving to Tulsa from Edmond. In 1984, Mr. Coffee & Co.'s ownership changed hands and the business was renamed Gourmet Coffee Authority (GCA). It has been operated by primarily three individuals - Donatella Leonecchia (owner), Marty Smith (co-owner) and Fred Weintraub (director) ever since: a rare occurrence for any restaurant industry giant! There are many types of coffee, but the most popular type is espresso. Espresso beans are ground and brewed with hot water and milk. The brewing process begins by grinding the beans to a fine powder. Next, the water and milk are added to the grinded beans. The mixture is then heated up until it becomes a boiling point. This happens because of the hot water molecules getting combined with the milk molecules. After boiling for a few minutes, this mixture is poured into a cup or mug and drank like any other beverage. Espresso can be enjoyed in two ways: as part of a breakfast sandwich or as an afternoon snack. It’s also perfect for making cappuccinos or lattes because it takes less time than other coffees to make them “cold”—meaning that they don’t require heating up before you can drink them. If you want to take your espresso further, there are several different methods you can use to improve its flavor: adding creams, sweeteners, carafes, syrups, or Modes de la Terre (a French term meaning “methods of life”). In general though, if you enjoy good quality espresso every day (or at least once per week), buying whole beans rather than pre-ground versions is an excellent idea!

Edmond is a city in Oklahoma, United States. The population was 102,611 at the 2010 census. It is the seventh-largest city in Oklahoma and the second-largest city in the state of Oklahoma. The name "Edmond" was derived from Indian words meaning "The Place of Many Trees." In 1907, Edmond residents voted to form a city government with its own police department and fire department. On November 2, 1907, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 1 declaring that Edmond would become an incorporated town on December 1, 1907 pursuant to law number 5270 of 1909. On January 21, 1912, voters approved incorporation as a town by ordinance (resolution 6582). The first mayor and council were appointed on February 17th. The purpose of coffee was still unknown at this time, but it is likely that its use as a medicinal substance was the main reason for its widespread popularity at this point. Coffee began to be produced in large quantities in Europe during the 15th century AD. At first, it was only used as currency, but soon enough it became an everyday luxury item. The early adopters of coffee were mainly Italian traders who travelled throughout Europe looking for new sources of beans and spices. By the 16th century, coffee had reached North America and parts of Asia. By the 18th century, coffee had become an important commodity in many countries around the world. Coffee consumption increased rapidly during this period due to its health benefits and unique flavor profile. However, there were also some issues which arose from introducing new technologies into traditional agricultural practices which led to a decrease in bean production over time.

Edmond, Oklahoma is a town in Stephens County, Oklahoma and the county seat of Stephens County. The population was 9,851 at the 2000 census. The name "Edmond" comes from the Choctaw word yedawn (a word meaning "place where there is water") and was given to it by General John C. Frémont in 1847 as part of his land deal with the Native Americans. Edmond became an incorporated city in 1907. The first white person to live in Edmond was Capt. James Bogue who settled there around 1795. A post office called Bogueville was established on December 12, 1827, and served until May 3, 1889 when it changed its name to Edmond. In 1907, the city proper was annexed by Tulsa which had a population of over 120,000 people at that time. The two cities share one common history: They were both founded as towns within Stephens County but each adopted their own independent identities after become fully incorporated into Tulsa City Limits on January 1st of that year. The first school in Edmond was built on what is now Main Street in 1872-73 by Mrs. Rufus Heneghan and Mr. Blackledge as a kindergarten for children of working class farmers living near Tulsa's railroad tracks (now First Avenue). After only three years teaching at this small school%, Mrs Heneghan donated her property along Main Street west to build a larger school which would serve all students from grades one through twelve; this building still stands today as District One Middle School (). In 1903-04, Rev Wm Fenton organized a group of Presbyterian ministers who left Tulsa for Edmond because they believed that religious indoctrination through Young Men’s Christian Associations (YMCA) programs would be detrimental to young men’s development and future prospects in life if they did not attend such organizations while growing up! Reverend Fenton invited local businessmen and civic leaders to join him in sponsoring a new high school for boys adjacent to his old presbytery building on Third Street southwest; this new high school became known as Central High School () after its cornerstone was laid July 5th 1904 (). In 1907-08 additional classrooms were added onto Central High School using money raised from subscriptions among members of the citizens’ leagues formed during 1906-07 when streetcar service improved greatly throughout Tulsa; these rooms were used for extra classes beyond what would have been offered at normal high schools (). In 1912-13 more than doubling capacity again necessitated addition of yet another classroom onto Central High School(). When construction finally stopped due to lack of funding following World War I (), Normal Schools took over instruction atCentral High School with only grade nine students being admitted instead of grade ten+. This change constituted what has come be known as “Normalization” or “Admitting More Kids Than Ever Before” (). It should also be noted that during this same time period other educational institutions began sprouting up throughout downtown Tulsa including Tower High School (1915), Oral Roberts University(1920), etc.; each having their own unique character and contribution thereto unto our present day skyline! Boys returned back into regular attendance at Central High School starting with Grades 10+ beginning September 15th 1922 just prior toOklahoma statehood formalities taking place; however due largely #to Prohibition era social unrest which had begun Shortly beforeClasses Opened no alcoholic beverages could legally be sold on campus until later wink wink winking !! . . . . so much for hometown pride 😎
Edmond was founded in 1867 by George Edmond and his wife, Margaret. The town grew rapidly due to its location on the Arkansas River and its access to transportation. In 1881, it became a city.
