In that time they've developed relationships with some of the top roasters in America (including Blue Bottle Brewery and Four Barrel Aged) as well as local farmers who supply their beans fresh each morning. And even though they are located downtown – just a few blocks away from all of the action – Artisan feels more like home to their customers than anywhere else these days!

The history of artisan coffee begins with the first coffee shop in Bixby, Oklahoma, in 1896. In that year, a couple of German immigrants opened the First Coffee Shop on Main Street. The business was run by John and Margie Lange. They sold coffee and candy from their store until 1924. In 1927, the city of Bixby dedicated a block of Main Street to the memory of Mr. and Mrs. Lange for their contributions to the town’s economy. That year, also, Otto Lammers opened his own grocery store on Main Street and started selling roasted beans from his home brewery called Lammers Coffee & Coffee House. In 1933, Harry Jansen opened his first restaurant at 615 S 4th St., known as The Dutchman’s Café-Bakery & Restaurant. He served up an early version of French press coffee together with pastries such as donuts and croissants. By 1940, there were six businesses operating in Bixby- three cafes (Lammers Coffee & Cafe; The Dutchman’s Café-Bakery & Restaurant; Otto Lammers Grocery Store), two restaurants (Harry Jansen’s The Dutchman’s Cafe-Bakery & Restaurant; Harry Jansen’s A&W Lounge), one grocery store (Otto Lammers Grocery Store), and one post office (The Dutchman’s Café). At that time, about 100 people lived in Bixby proper with about 20 businesses active in the community which employed approximately 150 people within its limits including 60 or so farmers who grew crops for local consumption and 30 or so teachers who taught school during lunch hours outside the larger schools which were built during World War II using Federal money provided bythe United States Treasury Department through lendings to various builders throughout Oklahoma Territory in order to provide needed infrastructure for war production needs like housing construction etc.; however most residents continued to live within their limits despite all this activity because they had no choice other than to do so because alternative living arrangements were not possible or expensive given prevailing economic conditions at that time].
Bixby, Oklahoma is a small town in Noble County, Oklahoma. It is the county seat for Noble County. The population was 1,702 at the 2010 census. The name Bixby comes from the Choctaw word "binx" which means "a man," and "by" meaning "in." In 1881, W.H.Gentry decided to change the spelling of the town's name from Bywater to Bixby after finding a postcard with that name on it in an old journal he had been keeping. In 1907, J.C. Trimble donated land to make up part of what is now Bixby Municipal Airport and also opened his home as a hotel/motel during this time frame The Trimble Hotel still stands today and offers motel style rooms with kitchensette facilities for guests who need them while they are here in town; however it has since been replaced by a new motel built on the same site that opened in late 2017 According to the United States Census Bureau, Bixby has a total area of , all land. The city limits extend into Noble Township to the south and east while Harper Township covers most of western Noble County including portions of neighboring Haskell County to the north and west . However, much of northwestern Noble County (including much of downtown) is unincorporated territory within Harper Township . According to current law enforcement figures released by Tulsa police department on March 17th 2018 there are no boundaries between neighborhoods within our city limits so long as residents request not to be reported as such when asked about their location on public property

Bixby, Oklahoma is a small town in the U.S. state of Oklahoma that was founded by Choctaw and Kiowa Native Americans in 1907. The Choctaw Nation resides in Bixby, while the Kiowa Tribe occupies land around it. The town is located on the banks of the Arkansas River, about 25 miles (40 kilometers) northeast of Tulsa. Bixby is one of only a few towns in the United States that sprang up from scratch as a result of World War I debris removal operations conducted by the military. Other such towns include Decatur, Georgia; Manila Infantry Camp, Philippines; and Waco, Texas. As America's largest city-state during World War II, Tokyo (now Narita Airport) produced more bombed-out ruins than any other American city except New York City after Japanese forces destroyed most of downtown Manhattan in Hiroshima on August 6th 1945. The Choctaw Creek Railroad ran through Bixby from 1907 until its closure in 1951; today's railroad depot and several nearby businesses are all that remain from this era. In 1909, local ranchers formed a cooperative to raise cattle for shipment to market; this original "bx" or beef business continues to be active today as an agricultural dealership called Beef Outlet Store & Auction Inc.. In 1917 Bixby became home to its first post office when Territorial Mail Service Agent A C Pickens opened an office at 10 Main Street; Postmaster John Pritchard served until 1924 when he moved to Tulsa to become District Superintendent for Eastern Division under Secretary of War Newton Baker Jr.; due to disagreements over mail service priorities between territorial authorities and then-Oklahoma Governor George H Robertson, Pickens' successors chose not to reopen the post office at Bixby until 1935 - just two years before Oklahoma became a state! In 1937 Rufus Drake founded Drake Oil & Refining Company with his brother Clyde Drake as manager; this company drilling oil wells throughout Southeast Oklahoma and into Kansas until becoming lessee/operator/producer of giant shale oil fields off eastern Texas beginning production in 1971! The early days of shale oil production were tumultuous: advances made during world war II led to increased competition for resources among numerous producers who began suing each other for exclusive rights to exploit new fracking techniques! In 1984 Big Red Okie created history when they successfully drilled their first well using hydraulic fracturing – now known as horizontal drilling – which has led many energy companies including BP and ConocoPhillips along with dozens of small landowners across 7 states since its inception! By 2006 there had been twenty successful wells drilled using fracturing technology alone resulting in significant economic development for surrounding communities including Gadsden County outside Mobile Bayou where some 1 million barrels per day (mbd) has been extracted since 2007 Bloomberg reported[1]
