NDP is designed to be an effective way to keep members connected with their families while they are away from home. With NDP, the Department can provide unique and memorable gift items that will help servicemembers feel special. Many people don’t think about the importance of having a gift when they are deployed, but when service members go off to fight or serve, it is important that they have something to make them feel happy and appreciated. Wooster, Ohio is a small town located in the U.S. state of Ohio. The population was 3,623 at the 2010 census and 4,711 at the 2016 estimate. The town lies within the Wooster–Summit Township metropolitan area which has a population of 922,000 as of 2017. The town was first settled in 1814 by John Wooster and his family after they moved from Connecticut. Wooster became an important stop on the Underground Railroad before American independence. Afterward, Wooster served as a military post for General George Washington's army during the Revolutionary War and later became part of the United States. In 1821, President James K. Polk appointed Wooster to be one of three towns in Summit County that would form the new county of Cuyahoga. Wooster experienced many changes during its history- it was briefly made an independent city in 1868 before being annexed by Cleveland; it joined with Akron to become a consolidated city in 1916; it became an unincorporated community again in 1922; and it regained its status as a village until its annexation by Cleveland again in 1984. Nowadays, much attention is given to downtown Wooster which includes several art galleries, theaters and restaurants along with two high school schools- Westview High School and Horizon High School-. Furthermore, there are numerous residential neighborhoods around the central business district such as Stonewall Village or Elmwood Hills which offer access to local bars, restaurants and shops while still remaining close enough to downtown for easy commuting into work or shopping areas like Midtown Cleveland or Downtown Akron

Wooster is a town in the U.S. state of Ohio, located northeast of Dayton and west of Cincinnati. As of the 2010 census, the population was 18,902. The name Wooster is derived from an English place name meaning "Well-watered Valley." The first settler in what is now Wooster County was John Wooster who arrived in 1796. He platted his land around what is now United States Route 20 and Indian Creek (now US 12) and named it after his family's home near Wellingborough, England. In 1803, following a territorial merger of Ohio and Indiana, Wooster became part of the new State of Ohio. The people here started to build homes early on because there was little water available for farming except along Indian Creek where wells were dug by hand during those early days. Today many streets and buildings are still standing from whenWooster was just a small hamlet with a few homes situated on a large swampy clearing that extended into today's downtown area along Main Street known as "The Green". When the post office opened in 1827, George Witherspoon served as its first operator Some time later he relinquished his post to Isaac VanWyngarden who held it until 1850 when it passed to James Caldwell Storer Jr.. In 1853 storer sold it to Abraham Lincoln who moved into the building which he occupied until 1865 when he sold it to Hiram Berryman who operated it until 1898 when it passed through ownership several times before becoming finally assigned to local historian Harvey Untermeyer in 1935-1936 although at various points during its history other owners have maintained portions thereof such as seeing use as apartments or used for storage purposes only Finally in 2006-2007 basic repairs were made including painting over some existing damage which included fading letters above door handle number 2
