Willoughby, Ohio is a small town in the U.S. state of Ohio that was founded in 1824 by settlers from what is now Westchester County, New York. The town's population was 734 at the 2010 census, down from 1,083 at the 2000 census. Willoughby was named for Colonel John Willoughby and his family who came to America in 1798.
