Westlake, Ohio is a small town located in the heart of Cleveland, Ohio. The population was 7,752 at the 2010 census and has grown to over 11,000 since 2000. It is home to several high-quality coffee shops and restaurants that have been serving up delicious cup of Joe for decades. The first coffee shop in Westlake was founded by four friends in 1948. They named their business “Cleveland Coffee” because they wanted to make sure that all their customers were from Cleveland. In 1962, the brothers opened a second store called The Cup Shop. This store was open 24 hours a day and carried a wide variety of products including coffee beans, creams, syrups and teas. In 1975, two Westlake businessmen decided to start their own coffee company called Dutch Bros Coffee Company. This company became one of the most successful west of Chicago with its own brand of coffee beans and creams sold throughout Ohio and Kentucky as well as parts unknown. Dutch Bros Coffee also served as a source for earlyKKK (now Dunkin Donuts) bagels and donuts back when those items were still made on site by hand! In 1984, the three founders of Dutch Bros Coffee Company decided to sell the business to Bob Evans Corporation which then turned it into an international chain known today as Bob Evans Restaurants Worldwide Incorporated (BVR). BVR continues to operateDutch Bros Coffee Company stores under different names around the world today! In 1992, BVR merged with Starbucks Corporation which gave Westlake residents access to some of America’s bestressoe availability nationwide! Today there are more than 300 Dutch Bros Coffee Company locations worldwide!

Westlake is a small town in Cuyahoga County, Ohio, United States. The population was 3,603 at the 2010 census. Westlake is located along the National Road that runs through central Ohio and connects Cincinnati to Cleveland. The town was founded in 1836 by John Dallam and his family as part of the Township of Westlake Township, which became a separate township in 1837. In 1871, parts of the township were annexed into the new city of Cleveland. The first settler in what would become Westlake was John Dallam who arrived on horseback from Kentucky in 1836. He built a log cabin on a hill near present day intersection of highways 71 and 77. Two years later he married locals Martha (née White) and James Caldwell and started to trade goods with local farmers for animals, flour and other items needed for cultivation. Dallam's son George also settled in what would become Westlake around this time; he operated a sawmill on Perry Street until it went out of business around 1840s when lumber became more popular here than fishing during those days.. By 1850 there were over 12 homes within one mile radius of where modern dayWestlake sits today! In 1871 parts of west township were annexed into the new city of Cleveland while much else remained rural until after World War II when suburban development exploded across western Ohio due to various factors such as cheap land availability (the result of an Agricultural Adjustment Act policies), easier transportation available due to Interstate Highway system improvements after World War II, etc., among others%. Much like many rural Areas throughout America during this time period changes took place despite residents lack thereof so it is not surprising that several businesses closed up shop or changed hands over time including Mr. & Mrs.'s Pharmacy which had been open since 1860 on Nolen Avenue now known as 142nd St NW next door to Kingdon Middle School; however another locally owned business which had been operating for 53 years called Piggly Wiggly grocery store opened its doors again soon afterwards! When I asked my Grandma about her childhood memories she shared some great ones including playing outside with her brother or sister because there was no school back then- most kids played inside even though today’s playgrounds are miles away from anything resembling “civilization” LOL She also remembers going down to Amherstburg for ice cream Social whenever we could get away from home; everyone in our town pooled their money together to buy ice cream cones so you didn’t have to go too far! There were no stores nearby but they got their ice cream from Amherstburg because they had two factories that made it! Another thing she remembers vividly is goingworth shopping at Kresge department store downtown because they sold everything local including groceries- something we still do today lol It can be said without question that if it wasn’t for automobiles becoming prevalent during this era many people wouldn’t even be living here today let alone farming/manufacturing goods all these years ago! With roads being improved continually throughout Northeast Ohio things started moving faster here than anywhere elseabouts thanks largely to men such as President Franklin D Roosevelt who wantedto see progress made regardless of location or obstacles- something we can all learn from especially given current political conditions! After leaving college Mr./Mrs.(now defunct)Dalmatian Cleaners moved back into their original building at 215 Nolen Ave SW shortly thereafter becoming one half Of The 2ndlargest meat market east OF Cincinnati selling fresh produce direct everyday starting Nov 1 1949 thru Oct 31 1970 averaging 350 lb each week plus larger lots weekly thruOUT THE YEAR!! After 55yrs Basement Closed Up but Mom Stayed Living In Home New Manager Came In November 1977 & Operated It From That Day Forward Until May 2000 When It Became A Condominium!!! Overall We Lost 10 Employees Over 55 Years But guess What... We Made More Money Today Than When They First Started And Paid Their Employees Better Rates Too!!!!!!!!!

Westlake is a small town in central Ohio, located on the Scioto River. The population was 5,362 at the 2010 census. It lies within the Scioto-Marche region of central Ohio and is bordered by Mansfield to the north, Lima to the east, and Euclid to the south. The town was founded in 1811 as part of what was then called Delaware Township. In 1837, Westlake became a village and in 1851 it became a borough. On December 15, 1907, Westlake became a city under the name of Cleveland. The history of Westlake begins with George Washington Carver who settled there in 1811 after immigrating from Georgia. The townspeople were mostly farmers until 1795 when they started to develop an area around their post office which would become known as Carvertown. In 1800s several developers bought land around the post office and built homes for themselves including Jno Haggerty who built what is nowCarver Hall on land that he donated to the town in 1834. In 1850 Steel County was formed from parts of Muskingum and Erie counties and Carverstown became its first settlement so it would be interesting to see how development happened across these boundaries over time since Steel County only began forming officially in 1855! In 1907 Cleveland annexedWestlake because it had outgrown its original boundaries which were just east of downtown! Today much of what once constituted Westlake has been demolished or developed into other areas such as malls (Mansfield), apartments (Euclid), factories (Lima), etc., but many aspects of this early history are still visible today including Carver Hall which is still used for public events!
