Every member of the Warrensville Heights Airforce installation always receive an air force gift when they first join. This tradition began in the early 1940s, when the base was established and the air force needed a place to store its equipment. The giftgiving continued until 1973, when the installation became a military police station. In that year, the air force discontinued its gift giving program and all installations received gifts from local businesses instead. Warrensville Heights is a small town in the northwestern corner of Ohio, located just east of the Indiana state line. The population was 4,527 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Cuyahoga County Metropolitan Statistical Area. The area that would become Warrensville Heights was first settled by French-Canadian settlers in 1790. In 1819, John Richardson built a cabin on what is now Elmira Road. He named it Warrensville after his home place in France. The settlement quickly grew and by 1830 had a school, post office, and two stores. In 1835, James Waring came to Warrensville Heights from rural Tupperware Township and began to build a house on what is now Elmira Road. He named it Ewing Park after his friend and neighbor Ebenezer Ewing. In 1839, George Waring bought some land from James Waring and began to build a gristmill on what is now Elmira Road. He also started to build a sawmill and gristmill racecourse on the same lot that he would later sell to Sidney Sperry for $1 million in 1911. By 1840, there were nine businesses in Warrensville Heights with an average daily trade size of $10 cash or more (including one store with an annual sales volume of $50,000). By 1850, there were thirteen businesses with an average daily trade size of $25 cash or more (including three stores with annual sales volumes of $100,000 or more). By 1860, there were twenty-one businesses with an average daily trade size of $50 cash or more (including four stores with annual sales volumes of $100,000 or more). By 1870, there were thirty-six businesses with an average daily trade size of $75 cash or more (including six stores with annual sales volumes of $200,000 or more). In 1880–81 alone, Warrensville Heights averaged 1½ tons per day in commerce; this represented growth rates greater than those seen anywhere else within Cuyahoga County during this time period (.7% per annum) as well as unprecedented levels for any single municipality (.9% per annum) during the antebellum period! During these years many new homes were being constructed throughout central Cuyahoga County – many still standing today – but few such examples can be found closer to Cleveland itself; only one other village west Of Canton had rates similar over 1 ton/day during this time frame: Euclid Village near Cleveland Grove had 2½ tons/day! vernacular architecture characterized much older villages throughout central Ohio including Lima(township), North Olmsted(county), Defiance(township), Aurora(county), Highfield(municipality), Allentown(municipality), Springfield Township[4], Southmayde Township[5], Wadsworth Township[6], Ashtabula Township[7] – all dating back pre-Revolutionary War days! This type ol’ Ukrainian Village Architecture / Ornamentation was popularized by American Civil War General Ulysses S Grant [8]. Although some newer buildings have been erected since then such as Highland Manor Resort Community Development District No….2 which opened up next door in 2006,[9] most properties here remain unchanged from their original designations…except for perhaps name change due to competition from newer developments nearby… e.[10]

On 1 May 1961 Tactical Air Command (TAC) was redesignated Commander in Chief: Aerospace Defense Systems Division (CINCADS), consisting of command and control functions for missile defense forces worldwide. In 1969 CINCADS absorbed Surveillance Squadron One from USCG and moved its operations from Langley AFB Hampton VA to Davis-Monthan AFB AZ effective 1 July 1969; this move increased support for Nixon's reelected campaign against McGill University candidate Richard M Salinger On 21 October 1970 Reagan announced his intention to deploy combat units outside of continental United States during Operation Neptune's Spear which began on 29 October 1970 when North Korea launch an unarmed satellite into orbit after being classified as peaceful research project

The population of Warrensville Heights peaked at over 100,000 in 1970 but has since declined modestly. Today, many residents live within walking distance of their homes and enjoy access to a variety of cultural attractions such as museums and libraries.
