In 1922, a group of Tallmadge businessmen and farmers decided to start their own coffee shop. The name was given to the business by one of its founders, Charles A. Maga. At first, maga coffee was sold only from the business itself; however, over time, it began distribution to other local businesses as well. Maga Coffee soon became a popular choice for locals and tourists alike due to its quality products and great customer service. In 1984, maga coffee was purchased by Starbucks Corporation and has been distributor ever since. Today, maga coffee is still considered a highly respected brand in the industry and is enjoyed by consumers all across Ohio!

The early days of paper money were marked by much commerce between Coffee Houses and Banks- some shops still having large sacks filled with cash from customers who came into town for refreshment after work or on their way to church! The importance of coffee is evident when we consider that during the years 1800-1900 alone Ohio’s GDP increased tenfold (from $6 million to over $122 million) due largely to its production of quinine which formed the key ingredient in both Dutch and English coffees!
Tallmadge, Ohio is a city in the U.S. state of Ohio and the seat of Cuyahoga County. It is located on the southern edge of Lake Erie, about 25 miles (40 km) northeast of Cleveland and 15 miles (24 km) east of Akron. The population was estimated to be 146,554 at the 2010 census. The first settlers in what would become Tallmadge were farmers who arrived from Pennsylvania around 1795. By 1819, two churches had been built there and by 1830, there were five stores and one hotel open for business. In 1831, a post office was established there with George Waddell as its first Postmaster General.In 1836, the town plat was filed with the government which included an alleyway that still bears Tallmadge's name today- Main Street between First and Second Streets). A schoolhouse also existed at this time but it burned down in 1865 along with most other buildings in what would become Tallmadge during the American Civil War due to Unionist sympathies towards Confederate forces. From 1860 to 1870, much development took place within what would become Tallmadge due to railroad construction which led to increased trade throughout Cuyahoga County as well as new housing developments being constructed nearby such as Dowling Heights which would later house both Ameren Corporation headquarters and The KFC company store before finally becoming known as The mallard complex after its developer purchased it in 1984 when Walmart acquired KFC's assets worldwide including all international operations except Canada where they continued under their original ownership structure until 2000 when they merged into Hershey Foods plc.). During this time period too there were several civic organizations based in or near Tallmadge such as Mechanics Hall Association catered towards mechanics working on locomotives for Northern Railway then called "The Great Lakes Railroad", now part of CN Rail corporation; America First Committee focused on pro-slavery activity; local Odd Fellows Lodge #2 & #3 served coffee(now lattes) from their home during lunch breaks from 1900 until 1926 while lodge membership boomed thanks to prohibition efforts spearheaded by Mayor Drury who also founded community theatre group 'The Playwrights' troupe'. From these groups sprang up many businesses that continue functioning today such As: Horseshoe Casino Resort - Owned & operated by Delaware Lottery (formerly known as Mega Gaming); Stroudsburg Market - Owned & operated by Midwestern Grocers Inc.; Masonic Temple No 6 - Home Of Grand Lodge Of Indiana; Presbyterian Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints located just off Main Street opposite First Baptist Church prior to conversion into a mosque in 2001; Schultz's Steak House - Owned & operated by Carl Schultz since 1922 adjacent to Sam’s Club across Third Street until opened up by current owners Shawn Robbins & his family circa 2009; Myer’s Department Stores - Now Macy’s department storehome since 1924 adjacent to JCPenney prior to merger into Macy’s parent company Dateline NBC affiliate back then) amongst others As more people came together within what became known as “the right side of town” certain services became available only through those providing proximity including: fireplaces for heating/cooling purposes only rather than electric heaters like those common today (electricity not available until 1952 when it was installed parallel with water pumps); greenhouses capable of growing crops& flowers outside instead of inside like we see today although some have been retained over time like those used at 'Flamingo Gardens'; limitations on alcohol sales without permits unlike pre-Prohibition days when anyone could purchase liquor anyplace regardless whether it was sold out or not; no zoning restrictions meaning any business could build whatever size or shape they desired... basically anything you wanted! These are just a few examples but suffice it To say that tall madges story goes back many Generations!

After Mahoning County formed into its own state in 1868, Tallmadge remained its county seat and government until 1971 when it was moved to Union Township. Tallmadge is known for its historical significance as the home of John Lennon and Yoko Ono.
