Worth with a gift from the Mayor of Streetsboro, Ohio, Dr. Joe Kappelman. The Enterprise took delivery of her first gift package from Naval Air Station Brunswick in North Carolina on December 12, 2002. That same year, she also received a shipment of donated items from various businesses in Streetsboro. These donations included clothing, books, tools and toys for children at Harborview Elementary School as well as benches and cups for local park areas. In 2003, the Enterprise became the first ship within FMF to receive a donation of an armored personnel carrier(APC). Smith's Expedition against Lake Erie on October 25, 1812. The Constitution reached Toronto on November 1, after sailing around Cape Horn, and landing its passengers at Queen's Park on October 26th. The expedition explored the eastern shore of Lake Erie before returning to New York City on November 7th.
Streetsboro is a city in Stark County, Ohio, United States. The population was 7,835 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Stark County. Streetsboro was founded in 1810 by General David Dixon as a trading post on the Scioto River. In 1812, it became the capital of Stark County and was renamed Cleveland after President James K. Polk's victory in the presidential election of that year. In 1822, Streetsboro incorporated as a town and changed its name to Streetsboro again in 1825 to honor John Quincy Adams, who had been president from 1824 to 1830 and had supported Jackson for president in the election of 22 years earlier. John Fenton was elected mayor of Streetsboro in 1870 and continued to hold that office until his death in 1877. He is buried at Riverside Cemetery there with his wife Lucretia Fenton Fenton and their six children: John Quincy (1820-1901), Abigail (1824-1902), Perry (1827-1900), Charles Augustus (1830-1923), Nellie Clifton (1832-1920)and Franklin Porterfield (1834-1907). The first store opened on Main Street near what is now Downtown Streetsboro on November 12th, 1800 by businessman Jonathan Hurdman alias "Johnton". This store operated for one month only before being shuttered due to high demand from shoppers looking for fresh produce available only at JOHNTON'S COSTUME SHOP located several blocks away on Broad Street which operated continuously until 1840s when it too closed up shop because of competition from larger stores like WILLIAM CLARK'S COAT MFG CO., LUMBERGRADE & STREETSBOROUGH CO., INC.. The last known grocery store open in downtown streetsboro was WILKINSON HOUSE GARAGE STORES which closed down December 30th 1889 after serving its customers for over sixty years! This happened just minutes after WILLIAM CLARK's COAT MFG CO., LUMBERGRADE & STREETSBOROUGH CO., INC.'s first building opposite today's Town Hall Building burned down contributingtothedepressionof 1890.. In 1898 JOHN PATTERSON built THE FIRST CEMETERY IN DOWNTOWN STRAPSHORE WITH A TREE APPEARSANCE IN DROPSIDE PARKING LOT BELOW THE METRO LINE! THIS IS ALSO WHEN STRAPSHORE ENTERED INTO COMMUNITY EDUCATION BACKGROUND DATA COLLECTION FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER! HE WAS ALSO ELECTED AS OFFICIAL COUNCILMAN OF STRAPSHORE MAYORAL DISTRICT!. TODAY THE PUBLIC FUNERAL HOME FOR JOHN PFERSON IS LOCATED ON HIGHWAY 9 NEAR HIS FAMILY MEMORY PARK BEING COMMEMORED BY EVERYTHING FROM HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS TO CITY EMPLOYEES UP TO AND INCLUDING CHIEFS OF STATE AND COUNTY GOVERNMENTS WHILE CREDIT CARDS ARE PRESENT AT AN EVENT LAST WEEKEND ACCORDING TO BEST EFFORTS!

Streetsboro, Ohio is a town in the northern part of the U.S. state of Ohio. The population was 5,521 at the 2010 census, up from 4,927 at the 2000 census. Streetsboro is located in Lucas County. The town was founded on July 6, 1837 by James Hogg and his wife Harriet Beecher Stowe. Streetsboro's name comes from a stream that flows through it named after George Washington Road (later renamed Euclid Avenue). According to the United States Census Bureau, Streetsboro has a total area of , all of it land. As of the census of 2000, there were 4,927 people, 1,836 households, and 1,223 families residing in the town. The population density was 2,711.3 people per square mile (1,043.2/km²). The USS John F. Kennedy (CV-62) is a decommissioned United States Navy ship which was used as the world's first deployable, all-weather maritime patrol aircraft carrier. She was converted into a naval air station in Streetsboro, Ohio in 1984 and served as an American military airport from 1984 to 1990. The city of Akron bought the facility in 1990 and renamed it DePauw Air Force Base after General James "DePauw" Wayne Deaver, who played a role in creating the National Aeronautics and Space Administration. In 1993, the United States Congress passed the Military Sealift Command Authorization Act which allowed for the sale of surplus Naval Air Station DePauw to Streetsboro City Council. The city has since operated DePauw AFB as an economic development center and training base for local law enforcement officers until it closed on September 30th, 2018.
