Hargrave and his family. The town was named after Royal Dutch Coffee Company founder John Vickers Streetsborough. In 1860, Streetsboro became one of the towns in Cuyahoga County when it was created from part of Athens Township. The first telephone line arrived in Streetsboro in 1865 and remained operational until 1925.
