She was launched on 17 July 1814 and commissioned into the navy on 3 September 1814. The Constitution served in the Mediterranean and North Atlantic theaters of war before being decommissioned on 15 May 1865 and sold to a private owner. She recommissioned on 3 January 1870 and again served in the Mediterranean theater until she was decommissioned on 31 March 1890.
Sharonville is a small town in Hamilton County, Ohio, United States. The population was 7,154 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Dayton–Middletown–Lexington Metropolitan Statistical Area. Sharonville is located on the south side of the Trumbull River and bordered by Holmes Township to the east, Centerville Township to the west, and Rome Township to the north. Sharonville was founded in 1784 by John Youngs as a post office called Newtown. It received its name from General George Washington's sixth birthday present to his mother—a peach orchard in which he grew up—in 1786. In 1814, it became a town when it merged with neighboring Holmesboro. The name change came about because of concerns that other towns with similar names would confuse residents for one another and cause them to lose commerce and job opportunities. The first post office closed in 1892 because of low mail volume; however, it reopened two years later under its current name. The population increased rapidly during World War II due to military construction projects in nearby Centerville and RomeTownships; however, after 1945 the growth slowed down and only slightly increased until 2000 when it reached its current level. Today, Sharonville is home to many large businesses such as IBM, JDS Uniphase (formerly Wernham Hogg), Scripps Howard Broadcasting Company (Hometown Radio Station WDEO-FM), PNC Bank/Wells Fargo bank branch #1 & #2 along with several dozen smaller businesses including an insurance agency and five beauty salons. There are also several restaurants including White Castle Hamburgers & Fries along with two convenience stores: KFC and Dunkin' Donuts along with three service stations - one gas station/convenience store chain (including Tom's Pizza) as well as Three Rivers Ford dealership - providing daily vehicle maintenance services across all types of vehicles including antique cars and trucks as well as new vehicles imported into Ohio from various countries throughout history
