The United States Air Force is one of the most powerful military forces in the world. It has over 120,000 military personnel and civilians who are deployed around the world. The Air Force has a history that goes back to World War I. The first air force was created in 1915 when America entered World War I. In 1918, the Air Corps was created and it was responsible for providing air support for troops on the battlefield. The Air Force was restructured in 1947 and became known as the USAF. In 1969,Operation Apollo 11 took place when American astronauts Neil Armstrong and Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin became the first human beings to walk on Mars. This event is considered to be one of the greatest achievements of American aerospace technology. The USAF's current mission is to provide global security by conducting aerial refueling missions and operating fighter aircrafts across all airspace�including nuclear-capable states like North Korea.�In addition,the USAF also provides humanitarian assistance with Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom.�Today,the USAF employs more than 126 thousand people worldwide.�The African Union placed an order for twelve F-16 Fighting Falcons from Lockheed Martin on December 5th, 2009.�On February 15th, 2010�� eleven days after placing their order�� Lockheed Martin received an order from EgyptAir for four new JF-17 Thunderchief Fighter jets.�This order will make Lockheed Martin the largest contractor ever awarded a single contract worth $10 billion.�On March 1st�2009�LockheedMartin received an order from Spain for two F-16C/D Fighting Falcon fighters.�This order will make LockheedMartin one of five companies awarded contracts totaling $9 billion during Fiscal Year 2009.� On January 10th �2009�� Boeing announced they had placed orders for seventy seven P-3 Orion Aircraft Simulator Jets from Raytheon Company �this will make Boeing one of three companies (along with McDonnell Douglasand Aeronautics Corporation) awarded contracts totaling $12 billion during Fiscal Year 2008.'

Sharonville is a town in the U.S. state of Ohio. The population was 1,901 at the 2010 census and 2,088 as of the 2016 estimate. It is part of the Dayton-Middletown-Cincinnati, OH Metropolitan Statistical Area. The town was founded by farmers in 1810 as Sharon Springs Township, and was named for James A. Sharon, a Revolutionary War officer who fought for the United States in 1775 and 1776. In 1811, it became a village under the name of Sharonville; however, it reverted to its original name in 1827 when it became part of Hamilton County. During World War II, many military installations were located in or around Sharonville including Camp David (now known as Fort Monmouth), Fort Brooke (now known as Wright Patterson Air Force Base), and Muhlenberg College; these establishments generated large numbers of workers who helped support American war efforts. In 1978, Sharonville annexed the adjacent townships of Dunlap and Northfield to form what is now known as South Holland Township; this annexation caused some controversy because most residents living within South Holland Township had voted not to become part of either town’s government despite assurances from Mayor John Kapp that they would be treated equally with residents in neighboring townships. On July 6, 2009 during an annual fire season featuring several blazes burning near Cincinnati suburbs such as Over-the-Rhine and Eden Park due to dry conditions firefighters rescued three children stuck between two cars on Interstate 75 while their parents drove away after getting out to help them; this rescue marked one of the most dramatic incidents involving firefighters during that year's season which also saw five other people killed by arson fires across Greater Cincinnati that year

Sharonville, Ohio is located in the Walnut Hills area of Cleveland. The town was first settled in 1813 and had a population of 350 people by 1830. It became a borough in 1868 and its name changed to Sharonville in 1924. As an agricultural town, Sharonville developed a large dairy and meatpacking industry. With the decline of these industries, the population shrank to its current size after World War II. Today, Sharonville is mostly known for its annual Fourth of July parade which takes place down Main Street.
