The air force bestowed an A-7 Corsair II jet trainer on the Village of Seven Hills as part of a visit by General Curtis LeMay. The Corsair II was introduced in 1955 and was one of the first jets used by the USAF. It served as an attack aircraft during the Vietnam War and is considered one of America's most famous aircraft.

Seven Hills is a small village in Medina County, Ohio, United States. The population was 1,878 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Columbus metropolitan area. The Village of Seven Hills was organized on November 14, 1871 and named for seven hills that were located near its original site. The first post office in Seven Hills was opened in 1875. A post office called Parkers Mills was established in 1879 but it closed in 1902. The village's first store and post office were built on what is now the corner of High and Elm Streets. The first school was a one-room schoolhouse operated by Mrs. Henshaw from 1876 to 1880. In 1886, Seven Hills had its own water tower powered by an engine donated by local resident James Fenton Jr.. In 1909, the Northside Improvement Company bought all of Medina County for $1 million and began developing land east of Seven Hills including much of what is now Columbus proper. By 1912, most of present-day Columbus had been developed as well and Seven Hills lay within the limits of this new city limits. According to the 2000 national census, there were 1,878 people living in 762 households residing in 5 blocks; Nine villages served by Akron Municipal Airport; Three villages served by Delaware County Airport; One village served by Muskingum County Airport (the only airport serving any municipality outside Cleveland). According to the 2010 census data: There are no schools open to students grade 6 through 12th grade or higher located within walking distance from Seven Hills Village boundaries; however there are several nearby private schools which offer PreKindergarten through 8th Grade programs as well as high school diploma/degree programs starting at 9th grade along with many middle schools which offer PreKindergarten through 4thGrade programs too! As such while not having physical classrooms inside our borders we still provide quality learning experiences for our student bodies!

The Seven Hills community was founded in 1854 by a group of farmers who were looking for a place to live and grow crops. The original name for the community was simply "Seven Hills." The name was changed to Seven Hills in 1879 when it became known as the home of the Cleveland Rubber Company. In 1915, the company moved its headquarters from Buffalo, New York, to Seven Hills. The company continued to operate until 1978. The Seven Hills area is located just north of downtown Cleveland on the east side of I-480. It is bordered by Highpoint Avenue on the south, Euclid Avenue on the west, Wellesley Road on the north, and Mentor Road on the east. The population of Seven Hills was 7,500 in 1950 and it grew to over 12,000 by 1990. There are now several businesses that have been located in or around Seven Hills since its inception such as Parma Ford & Chevrolet, which has been open since 1951; Bankers Trust (since 1934), which opened in 1954; Hennepin County Government Center (opened in 1959), which houses courtrooms and other government functions; public health clinics including St Joseph's Health Care Centre (opened 1973), Metropolitan Life Insurance Company (opened 1978), Unity HealthCare (opened 1984) and FirstEnergy Medical Properties Inc.(until October 1st 2006). As the only town in Summit County and the home of Ohio State University, Seven Hills has a rich history. The first European to visit the area was George Washington in 1795, and early settlers were primarily German and Irish. By 1818, there were twenty-one residents in Seven Hills. In 1821, the village of Seven Hills was established as a Township by order of President James K. Polk. The township was dissolved in 1902 and its land became part of the new borough of Delaware. The first school in Seven Hills was erected on what is now Park Avenue in 1827. It served as a one room schoolhouse until 1834 when it became an academy which provided instruction for both boys and girls. In 1840,Seven Hills Academy closed due to financial difficulties; however it reopened two years later under the name “Pennsylvania Academy” with Mr. John Cavanaugh as its first headmaster. In 1865, when Ohiobecame a state,Seven Hills School District No 1 was created from parts of three other districts: Delaware (now calling itself "Delaware Heights"), Summit (now called "Avon"), and Ottawa (now called "Ottawa Heights"). The district continued to operate under that name until 1928 when it changed its name to Seven Hills Township School District No 2 because all but two of its schools had been moved from Delaware Heights to Seven Hills since 1922 In 1961, Seventy One High School opened at Three Mile Road/State Route 422 east of Center City following completion of construction on what would become Ohio's largest high school campus Today Ninety Nine percent of students attend local public schools while one minorITY attend Eleven Mile Elementary School
