The Salem Air Force Base Museum of History and Technology has a rich air force deployed history in the form of gift items. The "Pioneer" served as one of two American bombers used as training aircraft for RAF pilots during Operation Overlord. Today, Salem AFB has another Aircraft donation from USEF - "Hercules". This plane was gifted to the AFB by United States Marine Corps Reserve Squadron 211 on October 25th, 1974. Hercules is one of three original Lockheed P-2 Neptune surface-to-air missile submarines that remain operational after being retired from service in 1990.

The United States Air Force deployed a gift history in Salem, Ohio on Dec. 6, 1941. The gift was the USS Lexington (CV-2) which served as the first aircraft carrier of the United States Navy. The USS Lexington deployed with the United States Atlantic Fleet and participated in the 1942 Battle of Midway.
Salem, Ohio is a city in the U.S. state of Ohio and the county seat of Summit County. The population was 57,801 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Cleveland–Akron Metropolitan Area and is located on the programmed city-county line. Salem was founded by British colonists in 1788 as a military post on the Scioto River between what are now downtown Cleveland and Akron, then part of Delaware County. The post served as a base for operations during America's Seven Years' War with Great Britain and its later conflicts with France and Spain. In 1813, Salem became an incorporated town after being chosen as one of three finalists for incorporation by Ohio General Assembly; it was accepted in 1821. The township's first mayor was James Caldwell (1786-1847). The first supervisor was Moses Ayres (1812-1848). One early settler, Levi Coffin (1800-1865), erected his own wood frame courthouse in 1822 which still stands today near Center Street and High Street in downtown Salem. The cornerstone for this structure was laid on July 4, 1827 by Mayor Caldwell himself—the date may have been chosen to commemorate American independence from Great Britain that year. Salem experienced rapid growth following its incorporation into town status – more than doubling its population within 10 years! By 1830, there were over 100 residents living in Salem proper while also growing rapidly around Church Hill Road and elsewhere within town limits. During this time, some particularly ambitious developers began to build large blocks of single family homes along Center Street (now known as Main Street) between High and Low Streets; these buildings remain some of the most iconic examples of Victorian architecture in central Ohio today. One such developer, John Hustedtner Jr., even started construction on what would become known as "The White House" – a $1 million home overlooking Main Street which he completed in 1840 but never lived inside because he died young age 43). In spite of these successes however, it wasn't until after World War II that Salem truly reached its heyday both economically and socially – thanks largely to several key newcomers including Drayton McLaughlin (1902-1985), president & CEO emeritus Sears Roebuck & Co.; Tom Gilbert (1925-1996), owner/operator Lima National Bank from 1951 until his death; Donald Trump Sr./Jr.'s father Fred Trump (/ˈfʌdər təbs/, born 1938) who opened up Salems only grocery store there until his death in 2006; etc.). All told, more than 1,000 people have made their mark here since 2000 alone! Salem has been designated a global city by UNESCO due to its significant role within society both domestically AND abroad – ranking 5th out of 197 cities worldwide selected for this distinction!. Its economic stability has helped make it an attractive place to call home for many professionals〠families〠retirees alike – whether they’re spending their winters here or simply using SALEM as their main stomping ground while traveling around North America or Europe!

These officers were apparently using their positions within the Nigerian military to traffic narcotics from Nigeria into Africa for American drug lords; this type of corruption is not only illegal but also dangerous because it could lead to war between America's two biggest allies in Africa. It should come as no surprise that these types of incidents happen when members of the USAF get too close relationship with our ally countries- especially during peacetime!
