During that time period there were also several airfields located within easy reach of town due toWWI efforts to build more bombers and fighter planes than ever before. Reynoldsburg is a small town in the Cuyahoga County, Ohio, United States. The population was 2,521 at the 2010 census. The name honors Sir John Reynolds, 1st Baronet of Bute Park and an early settler in what is now Reynoldstown. The first European to settle in what is now Reynoldstown were two brothers named Nicholas and Nicholas' brother George who came overland from Pennsylvania in 1796. They built a log cabin on the banks of the Beaver River and started a tavern called The Innerto which served as their base of operations for the next quarter century. In 1814, Jonas Grundy bought land near present-day Reynoldsburg from Peter Henshaw for £200 and began expanding his farm into what would become Reynoldstown. He named his property after himself, Sir John Reynolds (1765-1838). In 1828, he donated part of his farm parcel to the community for use as a public square. The square today still sports an impressive granite monument that reads "Sir John Reynolds Square". Reynoldsburg's earliest settlers started out primarily farming with some cattleraising also done at times during its history including some years when there was much demand for leather goods made in nearby Toledo. One of the most famous buildings that was built in Reynoldstown during its early days was The Old Fort on Main Street which served as a post office until 1895 when it closed due to lack of mail service then also because its location made it difficult to get people to come by wagon or horseback overland given how far away it was from any other settlements before 1860s! It has been said that if one wanted something done then all they had to do was go out into town where someone would be available but this never happened presumably because transportation didn’t exist like it does today back then!
