The coffee industry has exploded over the past few decades, with more and more people interested in enjoying high-quality, artisanal coffee. There are many different types of coffee, but there is one type that is especially popular: gourmet coffee. Gourmet coffee is made from specific strains of beans that have been handselected and roasted to perfection. It typically offers a much higher quality than standard grocery store coffee, and can be difficult to find in most stores. There are several reasons why gourmet coffee is so popular. First, it's often better priced than other types of coffee. Second, it has a unique flavor that can be hard to replicate at home. Third, some gourmet coffees are even labeled with specific flavors or themes (e.g., black cherry), which makes them easier to find and enjoy. Finally, because these coffees are often made using special methods and ingredients not found in other types of coffee, they tend to have a much longer shelf life than standard grocery store Coffee products

The first gourmet coffee was roasted in Parma Heights, Ohio in 1892. The first espresso machine was invented in Parma Heights in 1898.

Parma Heights, Ohio is a census-designated place in Cuyahoga County, Ohio, United States. The population was 3,890 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Cleveland metropolitan area.

There is no one definitive answer to whether coffee has been around for centuries or not. The earliest written evidence of coffee beans originating in Africa comes from the 6th century BC. Coffee was mentioned by Homer in the Iliad and Odyssey. In the 18th century, a Dutch trader, Cornelis de Vlaminck, traveled through South America and discovered what he thought were fresh-picked coffee beans in 1776. He brought these beans back to Holland and began trading them with other countries. Coffee became an important export commodity for Holland during this time and also helped fuel its economy. By 1800, coffee had spread throughout much of Europe and was becoming known as a precious drink. In 1815, an Italian named Giovanni Boffi founded a company that would become known as espresso based on his observation that people preferred robusta (a type of strong black tea) over Columbian (a type of weak green tea). This company became one of the most successful in history and continues to produce high quality espresso shots today.

The history of coffee begins with the first planting of coffee beans in Panama in 1795. Coffee became an important commodity in the Spanish colonies and was exported to Europe. The Dutch started cultivating coffee in Java in 1619, and soon after, other European countries followed suit. In 1624, Portuguese traders discovered a small area near what is now Jakarta that contained rich cacao pods that they began to trade for sugar and spices. By the early 1700s, coffee had become a major source of income for the Portuguese colony of Brazil. The Dutch began to cultivate coffee too, but it was not until the late 18th century that they became world leaders in this industry. By 1800, more than half of all beans grown globally were produced by Indonesia and Brazil alone.

Parma Heights is a city in and the county seat of Mahoning County, Ohio, United States. The population was 39,711 at the 2010 census. Parma Heights is located on the southern edge of downtown Cleveland, just east of the Cleveland State University campus. The first Europeans to visit what is now Parma Heights were French traders in 1608. Jesuit missionaries from France traveled through central Ohio in 1624 and noted that "a great many Indian nations" live near the mouth of the Cuyahoga River. In 1795, settlers from Connecticut arrived in what is now Mahoning County and began trading with Native Americans hereabouts. By 1810, there were about 25 families living in Parma Heights. In 1814, Ulysses S. Grant visited what are now eastern Mahoning County while campaigning for President against John Quincy Adams; during his stay he met James Kapp and bought land north of where Parma Heights stands today for $1 an acre (0.40 ha). The area became part of Grant's new home stateside after his victory over Adams at Vicksburg in April 1865. After Union General William Tecumseh Sherman's March to the Sea in 1865 destroyed most of Detroit and its supply lines into Lake Erie, General Sherman directed his troops to march towards Cleveland via Sandusky Passage between Canandaigua and Toledo—the so-called "March on Cleveland"—and bypassed Parma Heights along their way as they passed by on May 8th/9th (or November 5th), 1865 (see Battle of Powell’s Ford). On July 3rd 1870 violence erupted when men from two Catholic families who had been refused passage on a steamboat to Niagara Falls objected to being forced off their vessel by local beer brewer Ewing Colfax Sr., resulting in a bloody altercation that left one man dead and six wounded; Colfax then ordered 10 rifles drawn from his warehouse for use against the protesters ashore; as night fell approximately 200 men assembled around Colfax's brewery warehouse before marching him away with fixed bayonets; only two men returned fire as more than 100 other men converged upon them; following this incident several buildings adjacent to Colfax's brewery were burned including those belonging to three Catholic priests who resided there: Father Daniel Contee (1825-1892), Father John Meehan (1829-1912) & Father Stephen O'Connell (1835-1915). The violence associated with this event led Congress to pass an act providing Forfeiture Act 1871 which granted government ownership of all property seized during riots or disturbancesraint within any state having jurisdiction over it without compensation to offending party or individuals involved therein – including any buildings or structures used by non-citizens resident therein – excepting churches whose Ministers had lawfully exercised their functions within such places under proper law…thus endangering no individual but contributing essentially towardsermancy….This enabling act also authorized destruction thereof whenever deemed necessary by President pro tempore [Ulysses S.] Warren… This legislation helped create a permanent American presence in central Ohio which would continue until 1945 when nationalization finally ended federal control over education systems throughout America…. It should be noted that although numerous private individuals may have been responsible for these events leading up culminating into rioting outside Colfax Brewery Warehouse on July 3rd 1870–none received financial recompense aside from minor damages suffered–the owner(s)of both businesses aforementioned eventually received reparations totaling $3 million dollarsUSD as part of federally mandated educational programs initiated following such disturbance….. As one might expect given its location directly across Sandusky Bay from Cleveland Hopkins International Airport less than 1 mile away, rapid growth occurred along with congestion resultant from increased airport traffic due largely to suburban development nearby beginning around 1960s despite objections voiced locally about potential adverse effects such as loss of open space…..Beginning around 1970 some residents convened an emergency meeting called “A Call To Arms” seeking ways not only preserve open space but also bring about positive change brought about through activism backed by elected officials then working together……..Many people testified inside City Hall beginning around 1970 decrying traffic jams caused primarily by growing suburbs while airports continued expanding unabated……………………………….........During this time period several organizations formed locals opposed increasing airport density comingled with efforts utilizing peaceful protests armored cars picketing government facilities neighborhood watch style patrols ........…..After years protesting various developments proceede
