The business continued to grow over the years, eventually becoming Norton Coffee & Cafe. Norton is a city in the U.S. state of Ohio, and the county seat of Holmes County. The population was 508 at the 2010 census. Norton was founded in 1811 by General John Norton as a port on the Ohio River. The town grew rapidly due to its location along the river and its trade with surrounding counties. In 1853, it became a city and welcome to one of the United States' larger cities. Norton struggled during World War II, but recovered following the war's end. Its economy has exploded since then, thanks to strong job growth in information technology and other tech industries. The history of Norton begins with General John Norton who first arrived in 1795 from England for military service under General George Washington at Valley Forge near Philadelphia (now York). He set up his trading post here on what is now Main Street which he named Fort Atkinson after his home parish, Allerton-in-the-Middlesexshire near Worcester, England where he had been raised before enlisting in Colonel Adam Smith's Continental Army unit during the American Revolution (1775-77). On July 4th 1811 Nathaniel Holmes moved from Akron into Medina County Courthouse square with nine horses drawn by four cowslet carts while men walked behind each horse carrying goods on their heads back down SecondMarket street towards Newark (now Delaware) because that was then called "Norton". Since the dawn of time, coffee has been a cherished possession. Some would say it’s even more precious now that it’s considered a global beverage. For centuries, people have enjoyed cup after cup of hot java morning and night. From small villages in Africa to Tokyo’s Ginza district, coffee was an integral part of many cultures. This love affair began with ground beans and gradually grew into what we know today as coffee beans. Coffee first started being brewed using water and not steam as it is today. Coffee beans were roasted over an open fire before being stored for shipment. The first coffee plantations were established in Brazil about the end of the 18th century and soon spread throughout the continent. The first commercial espresso machines appeared around 1870 but they were actually built by Italian brewers to produce Dutch-style beers called “Kopjes” (koffie). The popularity of espresso led to the development of milk steaming machines which could easily be adapted for making coffee from either fresh or dry beans. In 1912, Mr John Keogh founded Jura Coffee Company in Switzerland with his brother Jack Keogh Sr., located near Zurich in what is now canton Vaud (region of Switzerland). With their own self-contained brewing system and European distribution network, Jura became one of the leading coffee companies in the world. By 1970, they had opened more than 100 cafes worldwide including 25 branches in North America alone!

Norton, Ohio is a small town in the heart of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The population was 5,541 at the 2010 census. It is located on the eastern edge of Norton Township and is bordered by Ottawa County to the north, Hubbard Township to the east, Clinton Township to the south and Muskegon Heights Borough to the west. The first settlement in what is now Norton was made in 1824 when Isaac Norton donated land for a schoolhouse. The first store in Norton opened in 1830. In 1836, a post office was established at Norton and it continued being used until1890. In 1865, Norton became part of Lansing County and remained so until 1998 when it became part of Macomb County. Norton’s economy has been based on agriculture since its founding. The township has produced corn, potatoes and other crops since before statehood in 1850. Now that farming no longer dominates the economy, many residents are employed in nearby cities or towns such as Holland and Sterling Heights. Manufacturing began to play a significant role in Norton’s economy after World War II but has recently declined overall; however, there are still some businesses manufacturing products such as clothing or food items that may be found throughout various parts of Northern Michigan. In recent years there have been efforts by local officials to revive interest within townspeople in economic development opportunities outside their homes – most notably through stronger partnerships with neighboring townships as well as Mackinac Center for Economic Development which helps promote business opportunities within Detroit-area communities while also providing technical assistance for entrepreneurs starting new businesses
Norton was founded in 1792 by the brothers George and Nathaniel Norton. The original site of Norton was a small village on the Scioto River, about 12 miles (19 km) northeast of Columbus. In 1812, the town became a county seat and was renamed Norton after its founder. The town suffered from economic decline in the mid-20th century but has since regained some of its former prosperity through development of technology businesses.
