The history of the Marysville Shooter gift shop dates back to 1938 when a small family-owned business, Mrs. Giannoulis and Her Sons, sold shooting games, rifles and pistols from their home on West Main Street. The business grew over the years and in 1978 became an independently owned store with its own retail floor space. Today, the Marysville Shooter gift shop is one of the oldest and most prestigious retailers of its type in the United States. In addition to selling firearms, ammunition and hunting supplies, we offer a wide variety of other Shooting Games products including targets, bows and arrows, Pistol Classes (for adults), Rifle Classes (for adults) and Archery Classes for kids. The Shooter's Gallery is a shooting gallery located in Marysville, Ohio. It was opened in 1984 by Johnnie Frazier and current owner Rick Sessler. The gallery has over 50 rifles and shotguns on display, as well as many handguns.
Marysville is a small town in the northwestern part of Ohio, United States. The population was 1,532 at the 2010 census. It is located in Columbiana County. Marysville was platted in 1837 and became a town in 1868. The current name is based on an incident which took place in 1838 when General George Washington's wagon was stopped by a militia at the intersection of State Route 151 and US-36 near present day Marysville. A group of women named Marysville wanted to know why General Washington's vehicle had been stopped, so they started asking questions about him and his family. This incident soon turned into a tradition where people from all over would come to visit General Washington's wagon every week or so while it stayed parked at the intersection. By 1840, there were several stores, two churches (the first being built in 1830), one school, and four families living in what is now known as downtown Marysville. In 1843, the first railroad arrived through this area and by 1850, there were three businesses open: two grocery stores and one millinery store. The first post office was established here on February 15th, 1850. By 1861, there were twelve families living here with nineteen businesses closed; however six new businesses opened: five groceries, two hotels/motels (one called "The Sentinel" which still exists today), three banks (both National City National Bank and First National Bank merged into Nationwide bank later that year), and one printing press for publishing local news papers such as The Monday Evening Journal (founded by Lillie Dandridge). One of these new businesses was also the first restaurant built in America within walking distance of any home during this time period; it was called The Gilded Cage which operated from 1861 until 1896 when it burned down due to firecode violations In 1870-71 another millinery store opened; this time located next door to what is now known as the Methodist Episcopal Church In 1886-87 another printing press opened which published local newspapers such as The Sunday Dispatch In 1912-13 a grain elevator opened up briefly changing everything for locals In 1938-39 radar began being used locally for air defense early warning systems Downtown Marysville experienced significant growth following World War II with many new housing developments springing up including many multi level dwellings known as "balloons" because they could be inflated using gas found near military bases like nearby Dayton Downtown continued experiencing growth after wars ended with more restaurant openings followed by large shopping malls opening throughout central Ohio including one right outside MarysVILLE

Marysville is a small town in the state of Ohio, located about 20 miles northwest of Columbus. The first European to set foot in what is now Marysville was John Ensign and his family who settled on the banks of the Scioto River in 1788. The town was originally called "Enderstown" after Ender Ingersoll, one of the early settlers. The first school in Marysville was built by teacher Mrs. Hale in 1816. A log schoolhouse stood for many years near present-day Main Street, but it burned down in 1827. A second log schoolhouse was built at what is now Park Avenue and Ontario Road around 1830. It also burned down three years later. In 1847, a grist mill was built on current-day Xenia Road by James Bigham and Sons. This mill continued to be run until 1937 when it became part of the Cleveland Manufacturing Company which merged with Allis Chalmers Corporation to form American Standard Corporation. A post office operated at Marysville from 1840 to 1851; however, no mail arrived there until 1861 when mail delivery began from Lancaster County Courthouse which then moved to Marysville's location across the Scioto River from Ensign’s mill site! A store opened at what is now Main Street and Ontario Road in 1852 by Jno Fenton & Bros., becoming one of the original retail businesses within central Ohio! In 1865, Mr. Hahn bought land east of Main Street from Michael Snyder for $3 per acre which he eventually developed into what is today known as downtown Marysville! Downtown MarysVILLE features several large buildings including The General Store (1885), First National Bank (1892), Methodist Episcopal Church (1910), Presbyterian Church (1920) along with various smaller businesses throughout its history! Lt.-Gov.-elect John Crain attended local high school here before going on to attend college where he earned an engineering degree at Case Western Reserve University! He would go on to serve as Governor of Ohio from 1978-1981 and 1988-1991!
On July 4, 1814, the United States acquired Marysville from the British. The town was founded by General John Hunt on a tract of land that he purchased from the Delaware Indians in 1792. The site of Marysville was located about six miles south-southwest of what is now Cincinnati. The first settler in Marysville was Captain James Krieger, who built his home on the current site of downtown in 1800. In 1806, General David Potter moved to Marysville from Ohio and became its first mayor. He also started a flour mill and donated land for development within the community. In 1825, Colonel John Swayne erected a log cabin near what is now Main Street in order to market his new orange grove located about one mile east of town. In 1830, George Stephenson erected a sawmill at what is now Monument Hill with support from local citizens and investors. By 1840, there were 10 businesses inMarysville with an annual payroll of $10,000+. During the American Civil War (1861-1865), Marysville served as both an ammunition depot for Union forces and as a supply stop for Confederate troops traveling along the Underground Railroad to freedom. Aftermath of the war led to increased production at local mills and construction began on new homes throughout town including many for Cincinnati residents displaced during the war effort.
