Kettering, Ohio is a small town in Putnam County, Ohio. At the time of the 2010 census, its population was 1,594. In 1902, kettering became one of twelve towns in Lucas County that were merged into downtown Cleveland under then-Governor William McKinley canonized as "The Great Lakes Collection Township."
