Since then there has been an overall increase in population growth rates across all demographic groups within Ironton Township which has led to increased economic opportunity for everyone living there. Today many people are still based within the city limits however there is also an increasing number of residents commuting into surrounding villages and townships for work or pleasure activities outside ofIronton proper
