In 1892, the Huber Heights Coast Guard was organized. The Coast Guard has since become a vital part of the community and its residents have helped keep Ohio's waters safe for both recreational and commercial vessels. The Coast Guard Auxiliary is dedicated to providing support to the Huber Heights Coast Guard. This support includes providing volunteers with training, equipment, and resources needed to maintain our coast guard presence in Huber Heights and throughout the state of Ohio. The Auxiliary also helps run events such as pep rallies, picnics, and more. In recent years, Auxiliary members have even built a beach house on Lake Erie for use by the Coast Guard during boating season. Volunteers from all over the world join us each year in giving back to our community through our efforts with theHubert Heights Coast Guard Auxiliary. We are so grateful for their support!

The Huber Heights Coast Guard Auxiliary was founded on December 9, 1934. The Coast Guard Auxiliary currently has a membership of over 200 individuals from Huber Heights and the surrounding areas.
Huber Heights is a small town in Stark County, Ohio, United States. The population was 1,898 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Cleveland–Akron-Canton Metropolitan Statistical Area. The village was platted in 1872 by Reuben Trafton and named for his father, Huber Trafton. It became a town in 1907 and was renamed Huber Heights after John F. Hobert, who served as mayor from 1922 to 1928 and again from 1934 to 1938. The new name reflected the fact that most of the people here were descendants of German immigrants who had settled in the area during the early 19th century. In 1935, Huber Heights erected its first school building and it has since been its central government building. The economy of Huber Heights depends largely on agriculture which employs around 100 people directly or indirectly including many farmers who work in surrounding villages such as Delaware, Morehead City, Lorain and Strongsville. There are also several small businesses located inHubertown and other nearby communities that support local handicraftsmen or manufacturers of specific products such as shoes or farm supplies
The Coast Guard has been providing a service to the public for centuries. One of the first organizations to provide coast guard gift history is the United States Coast Guard. The Coast Guard was founded in 1790 and it has been a part of the U.S. military since 1821. In 1916, the Coast Guard merged with the Navy and it became an all-volunteer organization. The Coast Guard motto is “Not For Sale” and its mission is to protect America’s coasts, seas, and airspace. One of their most famous gifts is their goodwill ambassador program which provides emotional support to those impacted by natural disasters or other events such as hurricanes. They also offer education programs on how to be a responsible member of society and respond when called upon to help others in need. Their collection of watches and jewelry dates back to 1915 when they started selling wristwatches at select Navy stores across America. In 1978, the Coast Guards Memorial Watch Collection was created in memory of those lost during World War II including Petty Officer 2nd Class Robert Wirtz who drowned while rescuing survivors from USS Pascagoula (LHD-5) on May 12, 1944 after being forced into action off Okinawa Japan during Leyte Gulf Conflict (1944). That same year, one hundred years after President Franklin D Roosevelt dedicated Fort Point on San Francisco Bay as a memorial for all who have died in service to our country afloat or ashore, Congress passed legislation authorizing Department Head Quarters Washington D Cto establish such a facility within Headquarters Command area under section 5346(b) of title 10 US Code On August 4th, 1978 Commandant General James H Quinn commissioned Commander Rear Admiral Alonzo L Gonsalves Jr commanding USS Coral Sea (CV-3) with plaque commemorating 100th anniversary of Service by United States Naval Forces Philippines dated October 1935 On December 3rd 1978 Commander Rear Admiral Alonzo L Gonsalves Jr commandeered USS Philippine Sea (PHI-1), present day HMAS Perth (ASW 71), with plaque commemorating 50th Anniversary of United States Naval Forces Philippines dated April 1945 During Operation Neptune’s Spear 1990 souvenir coins were authorized for purchase at officer store only aboard ship UNLESS specifically noted otherwise ALL COAST GUARD GOODS ARE FOR PERSONAL USE ONLY
The Coast Guard Gift History begins with George Washington's Orders, "Perpetuate the Institution of Our first Stockade on the Delaware River" in 1776. On November 5, 1846, Commodore John L. Stevenson delivered a gift of a launch and oars to The United States Coast Guard at its inception. In 1924, Congress passed an act designating December 4th as National Coast Guard Day. In response, President Calvin Coolidge presented a donation of motorboats and commissions to the Coast Guard on December 4th, 1927. On October 20th, 1935, The United States Congress passed an act authorizing the creation of aNational Museum of American History to protect and preserve artifacts from theft by pirates. This came about due to reports that souvenirs from America's past were being taken away by pirates and sold for ransom in Europe and Asia. As part of this effort, Congress appropriated $5 million for the creation of this museum which was built on land donated by Mrs. Eleanor Roosevelt in 1939-1940.
Huber Heights is a small town in Muskingum County, Ohio, United States. The population was 1,868 at the 2010 census. Huber Heights is part of the Lima-Canton-Muncie Metropolitan Statistical Area. It is located on the eastern edge of Muskingum County and south of Kent State University. The area now known as Huber Heights was first settled by Germans in 1810. The name probably derived from Hühnerhaus (a chicken coop), given the high concentration of chickens in the community. In 1824, John Wirt founded Wirt's Brewery in what is today Huber Heights and started brewing beer for sale to local residents. By 1840, Wirt had moved his brewery to what is now Grandview Cemetery and started producing whiskey also for sale to locals. By 1847, both breweries were closed down due to prohibition laws passed in America during that era. However, they were reopened soon after by their respective owners with new names - Young's Brewery and Pabst Brewing Company - which continue to operate today as both brands are owned by Pabst Corporation. In 1865, when Muskingum County was createdout of parts of Holmesburg Township and Union Township, Huber Heights became its county seat. The first courthouse was built on West Main Street inHubertown in 1865/66 and it continued to serve as the county seat until 1901 when it was moved to Lima . In 1902/03 a new courthouse building was erected on North Main Street near present-day Superior High School which served as the county seat until 1913 when it again relocated to Lima . During World War II there were several munitions plants located within or near Huber Heights including: US Army Ammunition Plant #1 on site locations currently occupied by Beechcroft Elementary School; US Marine Corps Ammunition Plant #3 offsite at current location of White Sands Missile Range; and Munitions Plant No 3 (now defunct) at current location between Superior High School - just east of Red Road - and Green Road where most recently an elementary school used to stand before being demolished circa 1990s While many small businesses closed during that time due primarily to wartime rationing policies no large companies did moving away fromHubertown such as Sears Roebuck & Co., Jiffy Lube Services or Wells Fargo Bankruptcy Court Complex although some smaller ones did relocate like Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company who constructed a plant at their old headquarters north of town prior to its closure around 1980s Additionally numerous homes were demolished throughout those years including original frame homes built back around 1860s along West Main Street while others were replaced with modern buildouts over time like present day Superior High School which opened in 1962 After World War IIHubertown slowly grew into an Approved Realtor® Community with multiple subdivisions available for purchase through HOAs becoming more popular beginning around 1970s resulting in increased development activity especially outside downtown core much like similar communities across America post-war
Huber Heights was first settled in 1800 by John Huber and his family. In 1814, the Huber family built the first house on this site. The town of Huber Heights was named for them. The town grew rapidly after it was platted in 1824. By 1830, there were over 100 residents inHuber Heights. In 1836, the Ohio General Assembly created a township to support the growth of Huber Heights. The town prospered and by 1840 had a population of 150 people. In 1848, the United States Congress passed an act transferring all land east of the Allegheny Mountains to form Ohio’s new statehood. As part of this process, Huber Heights became part of Delaware County. On December 12, 1850, Delaware County became part of that newly formed state of Ohio with Hubertown as its capital city.
