Since the national guard was established in 1907, there have been numerous different types and sizes of gift baskets sent to members of the Ohio National Guard. On July 13, 1916 Congress passed an act giving full citizenship status to all enlisted men serving in any capacity with either federal or state forces; however this amendment did not take effect until 1917 when it was retroactive to May 1st (the date Specified In order To Make such Amendment effective) Since its inception as a volunteer militia force under both Democratic and Republican administrations through most of its history there have been few major changes to the organizational structure or membership composition of the National Guard except for adjustments necessary due to peacetime budget limitations which have varied from year-to-year . However recent legislation has changed some aspects important to Guardsmen's lives such as qualifying age requirements for 4th Infantry Regiment Membership now being 16 years old instead Of 18 years old which has led 2d Brigade Headquarters Troop C Company (Airmen) In Dallas TX Petitioned Army Chief Warrant Officer Commanding For Authorization To Serve As An Auxiliary Arm Of 3rd Infantry Division With Which They AreconnectedTo ServeAsA ceremonial presentation Was Made On This Behalf At White House By Brigadier General Wm Troup Commander 3d Infantry Division
The National Guard in Green, Ohio has been performing its duties since 1795. The first militia unit in the area was raised in 1812 under the command of Captain George Stephenson. In 1816, the militia detachment at Cleveland was augmented by a company from Cincinnati and named the 4th Regiment of Artillery. The regiment served as part of General William Tecumseh Sherman's army during the American Civil War. After the war, Green's militia detachment was redesignated as Company A of the 3rd Regiment of Artillery in 1870. The regiment served until 1903 when it was disbanded due to budget cuts. In 1908, Company A reorganized as Company E and remained active through World War I and World War II. During World War II, Company E performed garrison duty at Toledo Naval Air Station before being placed intoactivated on December 15, 1944. In 1951, Green's volunteer reserve battalion was reactivated underudo Commanding General Joe Jobe with Headquarters located at Euclid Heights barracks and attached to Lima/Canton Field Army Reserve Unit #1 which had been activated on October 1st that year at Lima Municipal Airport under Lieutenant Colonel Clyde Burchfield commanding officer) . On November 5th 1951 Battalion participated in annual parade for city fathers on Roosevelt Boulevard . After years of service this battalion became inactive on January 1st 1957 when it merged with Lima Municipal Police Department providing law enforcement services for citizens throughout Lima City limits
Green, Ohio is a city in the U.S. state of Ohio and the seat of Clermont County. As of the 2010 census, the population was 5982. The Clermont County seat is located in Green and the city was incorporated on November 3, 1892. Green is part of the Cleveland-Akron-Canton Combined Statistical Area (CSA). The first European to visit what is now Green was an American Revolutionary War soldier named Major James Wilkinson who landed onpresentday Mayfield Peninsula on October 11, 1795 during his reconnaissance mission from Fort Pitt under General George Washington's command as part of the campaign for Lake Erie against British forces commanded by John Graves Simcoe. On July 12, 1800, Wilkinson mapmarked a spot where he believed he saw a body of Indians while hunting in present-day Clermont County; this spot became known as "Indian Hill." A smallpox pandemic that swept across North America beginning in 1793 killed more than two million people in what is now Kentucky, Pennsylvania and Ohio – about one-seventh of all human deaths from disease during that time period. In early 1802, surveyors began mapping out Indian Territory following United States Military Land Claim No. 8 & 9 filed with Secretary of War John Armstrong at Ottawa Landing northeast of modern day Akron OH In 1812 Congress passed an act to identify sites for military posts along Lake Erie between Detroit MI and Buffalo NY; these sites were eventually chosen as Greensville Forts (Ft. Wayne PI), Perrysburg PA (Ft. Monroe) and Cleveland Heights OH (Ft. Clemency). The site for Green was selected because it lay within those boundaries and its proximity to Toledo on Lake Erie made it ideal for shipping goods traffic between those cities via water transportation or land routes overland The first post office opened at Greensville Forts on April 15, 1816 with Wm Silliman Postmaster Greensville functioned primarily as a transshipment point between Toledo and Detroit until 1840 when construction began on a wharf adjacent to present day downtown Green which would allow loading/unloading vessels directly onto/offshore from Lake Erie On January 1st 1870 Cleveland Heights becamethe town limits when parts of Perrysburg Township were annexed into Cleveland Heights On December 16th 1898 due to increased population growth, new township boundaries were created including most parts of today's Clermont County including portions adjoining present day Green including: Northwest Side eastward to Ironton Rd., Southeast Side westward to State Rd., Southwest Side northward to Arlington Rd., East Side northwestward past current Foster Ave . To protect commercial development around green expanding rapidly southward into partof today's unincorporated portionof Clermont Co we reorganized our Township boundary lines essentially settling easternmost portions back into their Township Limits & setting up shop near Foster Ave . Today much still remains village like character traits such as: Large Methodist Church dating back to1850 Elmira Place which has been used by many different churches since then Checkers game field also dating back many years ago

Green, Ohio is a small town located in the state of Ohio. It was founded in 1814 and has been around since then. Green has had many different occupants over the years, including Native Americans, pioneers, and later farmers. The name Green originated from the Shawnee word meaning “meadow” or “plains.” In 1815, General David Dixon made his first purchase in what is now Green with some of his men after defeating an Indian force at Monongalia Creek. After purchasing land in what is now central Ohio, Dixon sent out surveyors to map out the area and named it Greenville after himself. The community was first known as Edwardsville before being renamed Greenville Township on December 12th, 1828. The town was incorporated on February 14th of that year and became a city on November 3rd of 1902. The city of Cleveland annexed Green on April 15th, 1907 which made Green the only municipality in Cleveland to have two levels of government – municipal and corporate. At its peak during World War I (1916-1918), green had a population of over 100 000 people! However, by 1922 when Cleveland merged into the United States she had dropped to 50 000 people due to economic reasons exacerbated by World War I depression. After more than 60 years as an unincorporated community within Cleveland County, On July 1st 2006green merged with Cuyahoga County as part of a larger annexation rush across northern Ohio that also included other towns such as Lima and Independence along with Riverview Heights (Newburgh) in Geauga County near Dayton Airport Green remains one of America's mostjloved small towns fullfilling its namesake promise "A meadow for all." Today there are plenty Of activities taking place here like agriculture & hunting/fishing; Manufacturing: textiles/apparel; Medical Equipment/Surgical supplies; & Recreation: golfing/horseback riding/kayaking etc.; however some are less popular than others such as art galleries which don't generate much income but still maintain their building& grounds
