Krieger's Gifts soon became well-known throughout the United States. They offered many different types of gifts, including jewelry, watches and cigarettes. In 1912, they opened their own branch office in New York City. In 1929, Krieger's Gifts merged with another company to become Macy's Gift Corporation. This allowed them to sell more products under one roof than ever before. In 1945, Macy's Gift Corporation merged with Allied Stores Inc., which then became Sears Holdings Inc.. Sears Holdings continued to operate as separate companies until 1986 when it merged into Sears Roebuck and Co., which is now part of American Express Company!

Fairview Park is a small community located in the eastern part of the U.S. state of Ohio. It is bordered by Mentor to the north, Findlay to the east, and Lucasville to the south. The population was 3,853 at the 2010 census. The first settler in Fairview Park was George Washington Burritt who arrived in 1797. He named his farm "Burritt's Corners." In 1811, John Caldwell settled here with his family and took up residence on a tract of land that he bought from George Washington Burritt. The first school in FairVIEW PARK was built in 1814 by Captain David Beiler and Teacher Robert Trimble. In 1816, Reverend James Hargrave established achool here which became known as "Hargrave's School." In 1830, Reverend Amos Kendall opened an academy here which became known as "Kendall's Academy." In 1836, Samuel Morse moved his family to Fairview Park and set up shop here as a printer. After Samuel Morse died in 1837, his son Alfred took over his father's business and continued it until 1850 when it finally passed away into hands of his daughter Bessie Morse Sturgis (1893-1963). After her death it was sold to Mrs. Alice Browning (1901-1985) who operated it until 1984 when it finally closed down due to lack of use and vandalism by students。 In 1840, Alexander McKay settled here with many other pioneers including John Sheehan and Nicholas Noyes 。 They erected a log cabin on their land which served as their home for about 20 years before moving out westward around 1800-1800#4 according to some sources 。 later they erected another log cabin about 1/2 mile east side of present day site where they lived until their deaths 。 Nicholas Noyes' wife may have been related to General Andrew Jackson through marriage because she bore him two children 、 one being named after General Jackson Chief Factor Ebenezer Earle alias Ebenezer Noyes whose father also went by this name while living near Portsmouth NH during Revolutionary War era .; but no record has been found confirming this claim yet…….. In 1847-48 there was an effort made within our town limits called "The Gadsden Purchase" led by Mr. Silliman who thought that we could all be prosperous if we united together especially since he had connections with several states etc…..the main purpose behind this purchase was so that people would stop coming overland from Canada through Ontario onto America soil without proper documentation…………….after making some purchases within our town limits we were able to get started on building homes…………………………some early members of our town group included: Mr Silliman himself; Una McGee; Polly Smith wife of Rufus Wigglesworth; Jno Simonds brother-in-law; Elijah Cummings grandson; Enoch Pratt long time member apostolic church uscentsi]; Capt Atherton captain Phillips river company uscentsi}; many others contributed both labor & money either directly or indirectly…………….our group only lasted for about three years before disbanding due mainly to lack of support from higher ups not wanting any more trouble caused by groups big enough just trying to make money handout
