East Liverpool is a city in the U.S. state of Ohio and the county seat of Cuyahoga County. Today’s incarnation of East Liverpool is much different than it was when it first emerged as an agricultural center around 1800: today’s community is home to more than 50 businesses including restaurants, bars/pubs/nightlife venues (including two since 2007), an indoor water park called Splashwater Park (opened in 2014), several schools (one high school has been closed since 2002), plus a variety of cultural events each year such as art festivals seasonally located around town square or at various places inside or outside Ofalco Stadium (the original home field for Eastern York High School).
