Cuyahoga Falls is a city in Cuyahoga County, Ohio, United States. The population was 25,711 at the 2010 census. It is the second most populous city in Cuyahoga County after Cleveland. The first coffee house in Cuyahoga Falls was opened by George Washington Carver and his wife on Market Street in 1892. In 1915, John Lennon played live music at Carver's Coffee House while he was performing as part of the Beatles tour. In 1933, Harry Cohn opened his own coffee house and store on State Street called Harry's Cafeteria. The shop closed in 1951 but reopened as an Italian restaurant called Piazza delle Donne that same year. In 1957, Bob Dylan performed at the Regency Ballroom where he set up a stage with two dozen microphones to capture his performance live on film for "TheRare Epic Sessions", which were distributed commercially and are now considered lost recordings. Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio is a town in Cuyahoga County, Ohio, United States. The population was 14,871 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Cleveland Metropolitan Statistical Area. The Town of Euclid was organized on February 10, 1814 from portions of the Township of Warren. On March 3, 1816, parts of the Town of Bedford were added to Euclid and on April 15th parts of the Township of Highland were added to Euclid. The first post office in Cuyahoga Falls was established on July 12th, 1826 with Wm. Acker as its first mailer. The Village of West Primary became part of Cuyahoga Falls on October 15th 1902 when it amalgamated with East Primary and other villages within Cuyahoga Falls to form one municipality. That municipality was disbanded on December 1st 1960 when it merged into the City of Cleveland. On January 1st 1915 an act by Congress created authorities for two new townships: Sayre Township (organized November 5th 1914) and Shaker Heights Township (January 1st 1915). The Act said that these townships would be located inwesternmost Humboldt County between Latrobe and Ashtabula Rivers and would be named after General David Sayre who had been appointed Superintendent for Indian Affairs under President Abraham Lincoln during his second term in office In 1916–1917 Sayre Borough was established from territory included within Shaker Heights Township but not adjacent thereto; this territory comprised present-day Lucasville and most or all present-day Greenfield Avenue eastward to White Road/Route 2 which forms much OFSayre Borough boundary line today). However no action occurred until 1921 when authority for a second Sayre township – Clinton Township -was given by Acts 298 & 299 This township formed effective January 1st 1922 From area southwesterly encompassance OFSayre Borough boundaries until Clinton village limits were reached NORTHWESTLY extending upto White Road/Route 2 beyondagus SHADOWLINEadjustedborderlinesofClintonTownshipvetoexceptFOREWESTPRIMARY&WESTPARKS . Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio is a city in the US state of Ohio and the county seat of Cuyahoga County. The population was 41,604 at the 2010 census. It is located on the Cuyahoga River, about 20 miles north of Cleveland and 30 miles east of Akron. The falls are a popular tourist attraction, with a zip line and an observation deck accessible from downtown. They were first mentioned in 1684 as "Falls near Carpenters Hall". In 1814 they were named after General Anthony Wayne's army which had skirmished at Fallen Timbers Creek nearby. The city was founded in 1834 by John Fenton as part of the western section of Cleveland cut off from the rest of town by settlers who wanted to protect their land from development. During World War II Cuyahoga Falls became one of three cities (the others being Akron and Toledo) that joined together to form Greater Cleveland to support military production and service efforts during the war effort. When that area was split up again in 1945 it became difficult for people who wanted to stay within their individual communities to keep track of each other's events so they formed what is now known as "The Big Three" - Cleveland, Akron, and Cincinnati - which made it more difficult for newcomers to understand what was going on back home. In 1957 Cuyahaga Falls merged with neighboring Mayfield Heights into one municipality which continues today as part of The City-County Alliance organization. In 2007-2008 there was a large renovation project called "Renovation 2020" that included new streets, sidewalks, lighting & public works inside & outside the city limits along with repairs/replacement on bridges over several creeks & rivers including those near Mayfield Heights & Elizabethtown downstream from downtown where water levels have dropped significantly since then making access challenging but still possible; this project also added two new restaurants adjacent to Trinity United Methodist Church across Euclid Avenue from downtown - Blue Ribbon BBQ& Brews (formerly Greasy Spoon) opened in fall 2009 followed by Intermix BBQ soon afterwards becoming one of only two open 24/7 restaurants west side [in] central Ohio (& only east side if you count Dayton] within 1 mile or less!

It wasn't until 1814 that Congress created a National Park to protect the falls. In 1905, Cuyahoga Falls Boulevard was built to connect downtown Cleveland with the park.
