The United States Air Force deploys presents to the families of service members stationed in Ohio every year. This tradition began when the USAAF flew a gift to military spouses of airmen during World War II. Since then, present-giving has become an annual event within the USAF. This year’s presentation will be held on December 3rd at Wright-Patterson AFB in Dayton, Ohio. The USAF will also provide a fly over of the Greater Cleveland area for live television coverage. Air Force Lt. Gen. Michael J. Flynn, Commander Air Forces Europe and Africa, will be honored with a gift from the USAF along with other distinguished guests at the presentation Cockpit Awards Dinner that evening at The Ritz Carlton hotel in Cleveland Heights.

Hinson on December 20th, 1965 when they brought gifts to the Commander of the USAF Base at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio for the Christmas season.
The city of Coshocton, Ohio is located in the southcentral part of the United States. The population was 24,878 at the 2010 census. As of the 2000 census, there were 21,513 people living in Coshocton. The area that makes up Coshocton was first settled by indigenous peoples and was known as "Cuyahoga" by the Shawnee around 1795. It was named for a small creek which ran through what is now downtown Coshocton. In 1815, a group of German farmers founded the town on land they had acquired from the Miami Indians. At first, settlers only built homes but later began to produce crops and build businesses. By 1830, construction of a railroads allowed for shipment of goods and residents started to commute to jobs in Cleveland and Cincinnati. By 1840, many farms had been developed in Coshocton and it became an agricultural center with more than 50 public schools and two hospitals.During World War II, many Germans living in America served in military roles including munitions plants or artillery units. When Germany fell during World War II, most of these people lost their citizenship (including many who had lived here all their lives) so they were not entitled to receive food stamps or other benefits provided by American society post-war). Many Germans who did have citizenship fled once war ended but some decided to stay because they could not imagine returning home without their families or farms (some families even formed cooperative businesses). Many descendants of those original early settlers still live in Cushocton today making it an important community hub for its cultural diversity as well as its ties to its German heritage

Coshocton was a small town in Putnam County, Ohio, United States. The population was 1,752 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Cleveland-Akron metropolitan area. The first Europeans to visit Coshocton were German traders and missionaries, who arrived in 1796. In 1802, the new United States Congress passed an act creating Putnam County and giving it to Ohio Territory. The town of Coshocton was platted in 1812 by Zenas Gentry and James Wills as a farmstead on the south side of present-day Canal Street between Vine and Pettit Streets. On July 24, 1814, when Ulysses S. Grant became President of the United States, he ordered General James Borrector to take possession of all land east of Greenville Avenue in what is now Coshocton Township because there had been no appropriation for that purpose by Congress. When Wayne County was created in 1840 it included much of what is now Coshocton Township including parts of today's Muskegon Heights neighborhood and most of downtown Akron (the city limits then extended into what is now Defiance Township). When Summit County was created in 1860 its eastern boundary followed that line; however its western boundary did not include most of what is now Coshocton Township or any portion of modern Muskegon Heights Neighborhood except for blocks around Oneonta Road which lie within Summit's original boundaries but are currently within Coshocton's municipal boundaries. As a result many people living near where Canalside Park now stands (just northwest corner on Canal Street between Elmira Road and Maplewood Drive) were actually inside Muskegon Heights when it formed during these early years while most areas currently located within Coshocton's borders were part only or largely within Summit or Wayne counties until they were allocated their current boundaries through further legislation following World War II In 1868 Methodist Episcopal Church #1 built a large brick building on Main Street which still stands today as the old First Methodist Church Building which served as both church headquarters and local government center until 1942 when it burned down due to lack Of funding for restoration efforts after being deemed too unsafe by then Mayor Frank Ziegler who decided that heavy reliance upon volunteer firefighters would be more effective than investing significant sums into renovating an outdated structure . The building has been since rebuilt with assistance from the Greater Akron Community Foundation A post office called "COSHOCTON" opened in 1865 and remained open until 1971 . In 1907–1908 David Ladd moved his family from Deming, New Mexico to establish himself as a farmer at 2 miles southeast ofpresent dayCanalStreetinwhatisnowDefianceTownship.(Ladds farm adjoins present dayMuskegonHights Neighborhood.) He named his community after his native village just outside Deming , NM . Ladd also donated land along US 41/421 near Canalside Park so that future residents could build homes there without having to go throughdeming square mile restrictions
