One of the earliest examples was a Coffee Exhibition held in 1851 at the Masonic Temple. This event showcased different types of coffee from around the world and gave new investors an opportunity to taste and learn about this unique drink. The first modern gourmet coffee festival took place in Cleveland in 1954. The event featured a variety of foods and drinks from around the world, as well as presentations by top chefs from across America. At this event, Cleveland became known as the capital of gourmet coffee culture. Since then, many other renowned cities have hosted their own successful gourmet coffee festivals. Some of these include New York City, Paris, London, San Francisco, and Amsterdam. A gourmet coffee is a term typically used to describe coffee that has been hand-selected and prepared with care. The beans are roasted in a specific way and the water used is carefully selected for its smoothness, acidity, and flavor. There are many different types of gourmet coffee available on the market today, but two main types are Turkish Coffee and Arabica Coffee. These two types of coffee have different origins and brewing methods which affect their taste and texture. Turkish Coffee Beans come from Turkey and are usually roasted with a strong roast character that gives them an intense flavor. They can also be found in darker roasts than Arabica Coffee Beans which give them a more light roast character. Turkish Coffee is often used as an offshoot of African-American coffee due to its unique flavor profile. 1) Origin: Turkish beans were originally grown in Anatolia where they were ground into a mean black liquid form suitable for use in espresso machines (now known as “Turkish blend”). 2) Roasting Methods: The first step in preparing Turkish Coffee is to crush the beans using pounding or rolling techniques followed by heating up the bean mixture until it becomes kahve (a thick paste). Kahve then undergoes further processing including grinding, pressing, fermenting, roasting, filtering, drying, and finally packaging into small cans or bottles for shipment. 3) Grind Time: The grind time for Turkish Coffee varies depending on how fine or coarse you want your final product to be; however most Turks like their coffeepot finished with a medium grind size which results in an Aroma fullbodied cup of quality Turkish Coffee! Arabica Bean - Arabian Robusta Beans come from Arabia specifically from Bahrain where sunlight warms the seeds so quickly that these areas produce some of the finest Arabic Beers! These beans were dried under high pressure between 206 degrees Fahrenheit - 1 atm (41 degrees Celsius - 45 degrees Kelvin), resulting in deep roasted mahogany coloration with notes of nutmeg earthiness mixed amongst fruity sweet accents such as apricots figs dates palms honeydews lime sherbet flavors similar to those experienced during Reserva Grande blending even beyond typical Colombian plantation coffees! Arabica beans roast slowly at about 220 degrees Fahrenheit though this temperature range produces much denser oils giving depth to all shades of brown/black levels making these dark rich colors while still producing aromatics associated with robusta earliness! This style produces medium bodied cups filled with rich fruit flavors without being too dry or wet tasting like many other Davinci hybridsArabica coffees can boast!.
Cleveland's first gourmet coffee shop opened in the early 1920s. It was called The Coffee House and served coffee with local cheese, pork, and apple butter. In the late 1930s, The Coffee House became known as The Grinder and was one of the first places in Cleveland to offer whole- roasted beans.

Coffee beans have been around for centuries, and some of the earliest evidence of coffee brewing comes from Sumer in 3000 BC. The first Europeans to encounter coffee were Portuguese sailors in Brazil in 1497, who brought back beans they had discovered while exploring the coasts of South America. In 18th century Europe, coffee was known as “The drink of kings” because it was used as a stimulant and myrein-based medicine. However, until the late 1800s most people could only purchase this type of coffee during special occasions or when there was an abundance available. In 1855, John Hutton began importing Java beans into England and selling them at his shop in Tottenham Court Road. This made English coffees the best in the world and soon other countries followed suit. In 1961, Neil Armstrong became the first human to walk on Earth with his own two hands when he purchased a bag of ground Starbucks beans from a Seattle-area store. Soon after, cafes all over America started serving Starbucks drinks straight out of the paper cups that they were originally designed for! Today, Starbucks continues to be one of the biggest names in café culture with over 150 locations worldwide!

Cleveland, Ohio is a city in the U.S. state of Ohio and the county seat of Cuyahoga County. The population was 1,549,744 as of the 2010 census, making it the largest city in Cleveland metropolitan area and one of the most populous cities on the Greater Cleveland Plain. It is also part of the Cincinnati–Middletown–Dayton Metropolitan Statistical Area. The site where Cleveland now stands was chosen by indigenous people for its ability to provide ample water resources. The first Europeans to arrive in what is now Cleveland were French traders in 1701, who named it Journierville (Journeysville). In 1812, while still under British rule, Cleveland was founded as an outpost on Lake Erie by Captain James Kapp and his men during the Black Hawk War. The town rapidly grew with new settlers coming from all over Great Britain and Ireland; during its early years it was known simply as "Cleveland." After being divided off from Hamilton Township in 1835, Cleveland became its own entity within Cuyahoga County. By 1840 it had a population of 5200 residents and was incorporated as a city; at this point it became known as "Cleveland Heights". In 1848, when Ohio seceded from United States under protest over slavery – an event that would become known asthe American Civil War – Cleveland sided with her southern neighbor Virginia and joined Confederate States of America; however, many English-speaking citizens refused to align themselves with Confederate America over their home country. As a result of this split among Cleveland's English-speaking citizens there developed a strong Irish/Catholic community which played an important role in local politics until after World War II when white European Americans started dominance over Ethnic Chicagoans (see Italian American Politics). "The great foundries whose products made up eighty percent or more of Northeast Ohio's exports during much of this period were located in downtown Akron," wrote historian Lawrence Jarrell in his book The Making of Northeast Ohio Cotton Towns 1870-1920]. "Downtown Akron was where heavy industry began to take hold: railroads Yardsdale Steel Works opened four miles east along I-71 just north of downtown on July 1st [1890], followed by General Electricplant two years later [...] Manufacturing activities soon outgrew Downtown Akron."[2] When manufacturing shifted away from downtownAkron into smaller townships like Mansfield and Lorain several mills closed because they could not compete with larger plants outside those areas[3]. However other small companies such as Wabash Railroad built mill buildings near downtown Akron into the 1920s[4] . This pattern continued until about 1940 when large plants took control throughout northeast Ohio due largely to wartime production needs’ [5], includingGeneral Motors plant at Bucyrus(now Uniontown)in 1945[6].
