The first commercial roasting operation in Circleville took place in 1911 by Mr. and Mrs. J.C.Svenson who opened what is now known as The Coffee House on Third Street. From then until the early 1960s, all coffee beans were roasted at this location before being distributed throughout the town through various stores and restaurants. In 1963, The Coffee House closed its doors but continued to serve as a social hub for locals until it was completely destroyed by fire in 1984-85. Circleville residents continued to enjoy great cup of Joe even after the closure of their favorite café and they continue to do so today through various specialty shops located near downtown where they can purchase freshly roasted coffee products made from whole bean beans or ground coffees sourced from different farmers around the area

Circleville, Ohio is a small town in the U.S. state of Ohio, located on the Scioto River about 25 miles northwest of Cleveland. The population was 8,531 at the 2010 census. A post office has been in operation in Circleville since 1826. The first settler in what is now Circleville was John Baldwin, who arrived in 1796 and patented land here that he called "Baldwin's Purchase." He built a cabin on the site today and named it Baldwin's Corners after himself and his brother-in-law Daniel Baldwin. In 1825, John Denny founded the city of Cleveland and laid out a street plan for its citizens to follow; accordingly, when Denny moved from Cincinnati to start Mercantile Exchange Company in Cleveland he left his old home unoccupied by settlers and called it "Denny's Corner." In 1827, John Marshall came to Circleville with his family from Connecticut and started a grocery store which became one of the area's most successful businesses. When Marshall died suddenly in 1839, his wife Susanna managed the store until her death two years later; under her guidance it grew into one of Ohio's largest grocers.circlevillesocietyhallucinations
