Chillicothe, Ohio is a small town located in the heart of the state of Ohio. The population was only around 10,000 at the time of its incorporation in 1825, but it has since grown to over 100,000 people and has become one of the most important coffee-producing communities in the United States. In fact, Chillicothe is now home to more than a dozen coffee roasters and cafes - some of which have been operating for centuries! One of the earliest businesses that operated in Chillicothe was The Coffee House. This business was founded by John Brownell in 1793 as a store selling coffee and other beverages. It quickly became one of the biggest landmarks in town and continues to be operation today. In addition to its role as an important local landmark, The Coffee House also served as a meeting place for various religious groups during early nineteenth century America. The first establishment that produced quality cup-of-Joe's Coffee was Jardine Bros., which opened its doors in 1868. Jardine Bros.' beans were hand roasted on site and they were known for their delicious flavor and smooth texture. Their beans continued to be sold throughout the years until they closed their doors in 1965. However, there are several other notable establishments that have been keeping chilliothlete alive for decades now! Some examples include Harry's Cafeteria (founded 1935), Mr. Goody's Cafe (1946), Illini's Pizza Place (1945), Blue Moon Café (1968), Chili's Lounge (1973), Donatello’s Pizza & Pasta 711 (1969), Papa John’s Pizza Hut #711 (1984) - all of which continue to serve up delicious cups of Joe's Coffee today!

The company operated in Chillicothe and surrounding areas for more than a century, until it was sold to J.B. Kubert Brewing in 1984. In 2013, the company was purchased by Peet's Coffee & Tea Incorporated.
Chillicothe is a city in Stark County, Ohio, United States. The population was 17,599 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Stark County. The name Chillicothe comes from the Shawnee word "chilli" meaning "a warm drink." Chillicothe was laid out by General James Wilkinson in 1796 and named after the town of Chiswick in Buckinghamshire, England. The first settler in what is now Chillicothe was George Stephenson, who built a sawmill there in 1814. Stephenson's mill became one of the largest and most influential on the local economy. In 1825, Chillicothe had 5 merchants and 60 residents; it had grown to over 100 people by 1830. By 1840, it had 12 merchants and 200 residents; its growth continued until 1870 when it fell to 10 merchants and 150 residents. In 1868, John Dickey bought land at what is now corner of Elm and Main Streets for $1 per acre (0·76 €/$). With this purchase, Dickey became one of the earliest settlers in what would become Chillicothe; he started farming there in 1869. In 1870–71, he unsuccessfully ran for office as an insurgent candidate against incumbent Posey Seymour Harrison on a platform that included creating a municipally-owned bank and improving education opportunities for young men within the community. In 1875–76, during Reconstruction following Reconstruction Sunday laws passed by state legislators which abolished slavery across all states south of Mason Dixon line – including Ohio – chillicithe experienced its highest level of economic activity yet due to entrepreneurism among black men working northward into new markets during this time period seeking opportunity unavailable to them before: steel production increased significantly here thanks to work done at Lima Steel Works nearby along with new construction completed around town including two banks (the first such establishment west of Cincinnati), four churches (all African Methodist Episcopal), seven schools (three public and three private), two breweries/distilleries/cafes (one each), two stores & six homes were built within five years or so making chillicithe one of America's most rapidly growing cities during this era! As business boomed with many entrepreneurs taking their businesses up into other areas such as Detroit or Cleveland both east Texas & Indiana settlements also began popping up soon afterward becoming very large tho’ not nearly as prospering as some other areas due primarily to lack off infrastructure then available elsewhere

From 1960 onwards, however, coffee production declined as countries industrialized; only 5% of global bean production remains today. Despite this decline, coffee continues to be a popular beverage throughout the world; it is estimated that more than two billion cups of coffee are consumed each year.
Some of the earliest coffee beans were grown in Ethiopia. The beans were brought over to Europe by a group of Italian monks in the 16th century. Coffee was first brewed and consumed as a beverage in Venice, Italy, in 1511.

The first permanent settlement in Chillicothe was made by the French in 1701. The town was named for Jean-Baptiste Chilicourt, a general in the French army during the American Revolution. The town began to grow rapidly after construction of the Erie Canal in 1825 brought more people and businesses to the area. By 1830, Chillicothe had a population of over 2,000 people. In 1836, the town became part of Ohio and was renamed Cleveland.
