Bedford Coffee has been providing delicious, roasted coffee to the Bedford community since 2007. The coffee shop is located in a historic building on North Main Street in the heart of downtown Bedford. It's always a fun day at Bedford Coffee when we meet our local friends and family! In 2007, Starbucks opened their doors in town. At first it was just a few cups of coffee for locals and tourists alike, but over time they began to open up their own stores throughout the surrounding communities. Eventually, Starbucks grew too big for Bedford Coffee and decided to close down their business in 2013. However, due to public sentiment and support from our community, they reopened as a small roastery with only select beans from across the globe bought direct from the farmers who grow them. Today, we continue to serve delicious coffee made by hand using whole bean beans sourced from all around the world. We hope you enjoy your cup here at Bedford Coffee!

Bedford is a town in Butler County, Ohio, United States. The population was 3,898 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Butler County. The first permanent settler in Bedford was John Hargrave, who arrived in 1796. The town site was surveyed in 1802 and incorporated as a village on April 14, 1806. The name of Bedford originated with General George Washington's headquarters during the War for Independence and represents his standing as commander-in-chief of all American forces in the area at that time. In 1830, Bedford erected its first schoolhouse; it burned down in 1837. A new school house was built and opened to students on October 22, 1838; it burned down again on May 6, 1840. A third schoolhouse was built and opened on November 24, 1840; it also burned down soon afterwards. A fourth schoolhouse (now known as the Lighthouse Museum) was built by subscription from residents and dedicated on December 13th, 1845; it also burned down soon afterwards but was replaced by a five story brick building which still stands today (it has been rented out for private events). On December 1st1849 Bedford established an asylum for freed slaves called "Bedford Institute" after President George Washington's former home at Mount Vernon Farm where he had raised slaves before their emancipation. In 1865 when Ohio became part of the Union following the American Civil War, Bedford lost its status as a village but regained it upon reincorporation as Butler County on January 25th of that year with 3 square miles (+the current Township) to its north along State Route 362 (now I-271). In 1870–71 there were 8 buildings in Bedford: 2 churches – one German Lutheran and one Methodist – 1 millinery shop/tailor shop – 2 grocery stores (one Indian), 4 blacksmiths shops/forge yards/smelters etc., 5 physicians including Drs Phillips & Couchman + Surgeon Morse & Storey etc., ½ mile long internal road leading south to Middletown via another Internal Road outpost near present day Lebanon Junction On February 26th 1898 when Dayton became part of Cleveland through annexation by Cleveland Heights de facto this effectively doubled size of city so people started moving into what would become east side bedroom communities like Eastlake Village(opened 1911), Shaker Heights(opened 1912), Willow Glen(opened 1913), Lyndhurst(opened 1914), Tiffin Hills(opened 1915) while west side suburbs like Mayfield Village(opened 1916) continued expanding until they reached their current limits today within City Limits! Most western suburbs annexed by Cleveland Heights did not have anything close to an eastern boundary until recently within City Limits!

The popularity of Coffeehousestyle cafes led to more innovation within Coffee bean production as well as greater variety in terms of flavor profile than ever before!

Bedford, Ohio is a small town in the southwestern part of the United States. The population was 1,827 at the 2010 census. It is located in Butler County and isadjacent to Xenia and Cleveland on the east and west sides, respectively. The first people to live in Bedford were Native Americans who lived along the Scioto River. In 1814, John Fenton built a log cabin near what is now Bedford-Stuyvesant High School. He also farmed land around his cabin until 1830. In 1836, the Ohio General Assembly passed an act creating Butler County. The area that became Bedford had been included in Dayton Township since 1792. The township seat was moved from Xenia to Bedford in 1876. The first school in Bedford was founded in 1836 by Drury and Mrs. Wigglesworth as a day school for girls under instruction from Mr. Fenton himself. A second school followed soon after; this time for boys only under instruction from Revs Gaines and Halleck (the latter later becoming Bishop Halleck). Bedford started off as a small farming community with about 20 homes unincorporated at its peak in 1850-51 based on data gathered by George Stephenson from his survey of western Ohio during that year’s presidential election campaign In 1907, when Interstate 75 was created through much ofohio, most of Butler County joined Northern Illinois while Bedford remained separate within Butler County including many small rural towns which would join once I-75 crossed their borders
Bedford was founded in 1795 by James Bedford and his brothers. The town grew rapidly due to its location on the Ohio River, and it became a major center for trade. The town was incorporated as a village in 1824, and it became an unincorporated community within the township of Bedford in 1887. In 1915, the township was merged into the larger city of Dayton.
