Ashland, Ohio is a city located in Ashland County, Ohio. The population was 17,569 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Ashland County and home to the University of Cincinnati. The first coffee shop in Ashland opened in 1887 and was run by Amos Beard and his brother-in-law John Cavanaugh. At that time, coffee beans were picked fresh from the ground and roasted on site. In 1912, Harry Kapp started serving coffee at his store on Main Street. By 1913, Kapp had built a large roasting plant near what is now First Baptist Church on High Street. Over time, other Ashland businesses joined forces to form the Coffee Merchants Association which helped promote quality coffee products throughout central Ohio. In 1959, cafés began opening up all across central Ohio as people became more interested in getting their caffeine fix without leavinghome. One such café wasowned by Don Shaver who operated it for over thirty years until his death in 2006. During that time he served up some of the most unique cupcakes and pastries imaginable including an eighty-pound apple pie with whipped cream that he made himself from scratch every day! The first coffee shop in Ashland, Ohio was opened by George and Martha White in 1865. The White Coffee House served as the town's first commercial center and its first source of revenue. In 1876, the White family sold their business to Julius and Clara Koppelman and continued to serve coffee until 1924. That year, the shop closed its doors for good after more than 100 years in business.
Ashland is a small town in the Ohio Valley region of the United States. The population was 11,551 at the 2010 census. It is part of Ashland County. The townsite was laid out in 1811 by Nicholas Henshaw and situated on Purchased land from the Sauk people. The name "Ashland" comes from an early settler, Ashtone, who named it after his home in Kent, England. The first store in Ashland opened in 1825 and remained a local monopoly until 1857 when John Waddell opened a store near present day Centerville. In 1865, James Henshaw opened a general store on State Street which became one of the most successful businesses in town for over fifty years serving as its anchor tenant. By 1926, all but four of Ashland's ten stores were operated by local merchants; however, Waddell's Store still continued to be open as a grocery store until it closed in 1991. In 1951, A&P supermarket moved into town from Portsmouth following their acquisition of American Stores chain. That same year saw the opening of various retail establishments such as Checkers Department Store and Piggly Wiggly convenience store which remain some of downtown Ashland's most significant businesses to this day including new construction projects like MainStreet Place Shopping Center that replaced Checkers Department Store & Piggly Wiggly on Main Street in 2017 sidestreet cafes are also popular tourist destinations with coffee shops located near downtown square or around Main Street plaza where shoppers can enjoy lunchtime specials or browsing through gift shop before leaving for their next destination
Avery Brewing Company was founded in 1847 by Nicholas Avery, a Congregational minister. In 1862, Avery merged with two other brewing companies to form the National Brewing Company. The company became known for its unique coffee products and continues to produce them to this day. The first coffee beans were grown in Sumatra and Java in the 1800s. Coffee beans were ground into powder and roasted on small charcoal fires before being sold as morning tea or evening coffee. The Dutch began importing coffee from Africa in the 1600s, so there is evidence that coffee was brewed long before it became popularized as a breakfast drink. Roasting methods have evolved over the years, but typically coffee beans are roasted on a large scale and then packaged for sale. During World War II, National Brewing Company produced up to 25 million gallons of fuel oil per day for the war effort. This helped make National one of America's largest brewers during that time period. After the war, National shifted its focus towards beer production and ceased brewing coffee altogether in 1961. However, some small batches of traditional espresso-based coffees continue to be made today under different names such as Avery Dark Roast and Empire Blend (a collaboration between National Brewery and Starbucks).

Ashland, Ohio is a small town located in the southern portion of Ohio. The community was founded on October 12, 1810 by George Ash and his family. The town's first settler, John Morse, arrived in 1811. As Ashland grew, it built a school and a courthouse. In 1837, the town incorporated as a village. The population of Ashland peaked at 15 hundred in 1907 and declined to less than one thousand by 1950. However, the population has since increased again to over fifteen thousand people. The history of Ashland can be traced back to 1810 when George Ash and his family moved from Charlestown Township in Pennsylvania to start an agricultural business near what is now downtown Ashland. George soon became known for his innovative methods for growing crops and raised livestock; these methods eventually led to the development of what is now called American agriculture. Despite this success, George struggled financially during his early years as a farmer; he turned to mercantile pursuits in order to make ends meet. This choice backfired however; during the Panic of 1829, prices for goods plummeted and George lost much of his fortune. He still managed to build up another successful farm following the Panic though – this time within the town limits of Ashland itself! In 1865, James Crouse established what would become one of America's most popular breweries: Columbus Brewing Company Ltd.. With its large brick brewery building on Main Street (now part of Town Hall), Columbus Brewing helped support local economy by providing jobs for local residents and contributing significantly to tax revenue for the villagespeople. The company also became an important cultural force within Ashley-Dundee society through its sponsorship of many civic events including music festivals and parade parades throughout the late 19th century (eclipsing even Cincinnati's more famous "golden age" period). In 1898 Columbus Brewery merged with two other leading brewers- & Noble Ale Works Inc.- creating Cleveland’s second largest brewery after Anheuser Busch beer corporation- thus becoming one entity that operated across multiple cities across North America! Throughout its history Columbus Brewing Company Ltd./Cleveland’s second largest brewer had been associated with innovation in brewing practices- pioneering new techniques such as direct primary fermentation which aided in lower costs while increasing efficiency; cold cellaring which resulted in improved stability both inside or outside storage vessels; airlock systems which prevented spoilage caused by bad air circulation within vessels; American Pale Lager being initially brewed with adjunct grains such as rice which gave rise to some unique flavors not typically found elsewhere on Earth! On November 3rd 1924 Cleveland’s first containerized water system began service transporting drinking water from Lake Erie coastlines eastward into Cleveland via pipelines twenty miles long!
