The beans are roasted here at two roasters - Cloud 9 Coffee and North Market Coffee - and they are available both online and in local stores. In recent years, it has become particularly important because of its role within the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). This law was designed to help revive the U.S. economy by providing financial assistance to businesses throughout America. Akron, Ohio is a city in the state of Ohio and the second largest city in the Greater Cleveland metropolitan area. It is located on the Scioto River and has a population of over 210,000 as of 2010. The city is home to the Akron-Canton Local School District and was once known as one of America's "rusty old towns". The first Europeans to visit what is now Akron were French explorers who passed through in 1688, landing on Sandusky Bay on their way south. In 1701, General George Rogers Clark visited this bay before his march across North America. He named it after Major John Dennison, commander at Fort Niagara on Lake Ontario. In 1803, when United States troops occupied Canada during the War for Independence, General David Wilkinson founded the town of Canonsburg (now Akron). The town was renamed for Colonel James Ketchum with help from General Anthony Wayne. Ketchum had been an Indian agent during the Shawnee Wars and had negotiatedilic Treaty #3 with them in 1795. On July 4th, 1814 – just days before Ohio became a state – Akron residents voted to become part of Indiana Territory under Ulysses S. Grant because they objected to being taxed by Illinois. On November 2nd that year they ratified a new Constitution which granted them limited self-government within Indiana Territory but did not create any municipal governments within it like those in other states that had adopted similar provisions since Confederation (the Federal Constitution established such systems). In 1816 President James Kapp ordered military forces into India to suppress anti-Ulysses S Grant riots there; this led to increased tensions between American settlers and Indians living near or inside American territory caused by economic factors rather than political issues related to European colonialism/imperialism/colonialism itself! A census taken in 1830 found that only 5% of people living west of Canal Street were black African Americans while 10% were white Europeans; however these proportions changed dramatically over time as more people moved into these areas! By 1840 almost all black African Americans lived east of Canal Street while whites made up only 20%-30% of population west of it! In 1865 local resident Enoch Powell Jr., speaking before Congress about Negro migration into Missouri and other southern states via Underground Railroad operations announced plans for an unprovoked force composed primarily white men led by Captain Alfred Matson against coloreds working as “coolies” on railroad lines throughout central Ohio; he called for violence if necessary against innocent black workers! This proposal generated national attention due both to its racist nature and its potential implications for social stability across broad swaths of northern America where lynching still took place decades later! After years spent struggling with continued poverty despite various investments including massive construction projects such asowntown's original Central Terminal railway station complex completed in 1896), then Mayor Arthur Stokes declared Downtown 'a White City' effective February 1st 1895 using funds provided by Senator Josephine Baker;[1] A goal established by Stokes himself which aimed at boosting business activity along Race street while improving public safety conditions following numerous outbreaks OF crime including frequent assaults & robberies perpetrated against pedestrians & motorists alike….. nonetheless some Black Atlantics continuedurgingintoDowntownduringthisperiod…. [2] En route travelling down Vine Street past downtown's "White City" frontage i observed several individuals loitering around busy Market Square awaiting their opportunity… upon closer inspection these appearedtobeBlackAtlanticsintentonattackingdowntownworkers […]AsIapproachedDowntownthey gradually dispersed
