The USS Minot (DD-594) was a design by the United States Navy. She was laid down on 10 October 1944, at Norfolk, Virginia, and launched on 25 November 1944. The ship was commissioned on 3 December 1945, with Lieutenant Commander W. L. "Bill" Beasley in command. The DD-594 served as a destroyer tender for the US Pacific Fleet until she was transferred to the US Atlantic Fleet in May 1951. She served off Bermuda until she decommissioned on 15 September 1958. The DD-594 was sold to Greece on 15 October 1958 and used as an ammunition barge before being scrapped in 1960 at Piraeus Naval Shipyard.
