This department served as a backup for the regular coast guard during times when they were not available due to weather or manpower shortages. In 1951, Fort Bragg became home to one of America’s first marine corps training academies when it was transferred from Jacksonville Beach Florida. At this location marine infantry soldiers learned how to fight ashore against enemy ships while also performing coastal patrol tasks such as monitoring shipping lanes and intercepting offenders attemptingto enter U.S waters illegally. Since then, much has changed within our coastline community including advances in radar technology which makes it easier for us identify violators well before they reach our shores; more recent advancements in digital mapping which allows us direct access not only to Vessel Tracker data but Vessel Movement Histories (VMT) allowing us detailed tracking both onshore and off shore; along with new technological advancements such as unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

Fargo is a city in Fargo County, North Dakota, United States. The population was 34,868 at the 2010 census. The downtown area is home to the Mayo Clinic and many small businesses. Fargo's location makes it a convenient suburb for east-central North Dakota. The first people to live in what is now Fargo were Naiksiwatkihe Indians. They lived along the Missouri River near present day Bismarck and founded a village called Grosmont in 1812. After they were pushed out of their territory by the Sioux, they moved west and established themselves on hills overlooking the river near present day Fargo. This village was known as Grosmont until 1877 when it became part of Fargo because its founders wanted to be close to government services like education and trade opportunities that would make their community more prosperous. In 1881, Fort Snelling was built near this site to protect settlers from attacks by the Sioux. It served as an arsenal during World War I and World War II before becoming a military base again in 1967 when North Dakota became a state. In 1907, natural gas began flowing from shale fields under current day Energyton in Oklahoma into western North Dakota through pipelines owned by Northern Pipeline Company Ltd., which later merged with TransCanada Corporation to form Energy Transfer Partners LP (ETP). The arrival of natural gas made Fargo one of the first American cities to enjoy significant development due to its potential for energy independence from Russia or other foreign sources. However, growth has come at a cost: air quality has deteriorated since 2003 due to chemical spills caused by ETP construction projects; water shortages have been recurrent; traffic congestion has become increasingly severe; and crime rates have increased over recent years. On July 8, 2007, Mayor Dave Bakke announced plans for what would become one of America's largest light rail systems - starting with service within Downtown Fargo only - called "Fargo Light Rail" or simply "Fargoland". In October 2008 ETP filed federal documentation with the US Patent & Trademark Office seeking marks for "RTL", suggesting that construction may begin as early as 2009 or earlier depending on approvals process(s). On November 12th 2011 developers Gary Smith Properties LLC applied for U S Patent No 9/717,[1] entitled 'Apparatus For Providing Electric Transportation' which covers everything from streetcars running through downtown Faulkland Park all the way up into Anoka County including Mankato AFB on Lake Winnepesaukee[2]. On December 5th 2011[3] City Council unanimously approved giving Gary Smith Properties LLC exclusive rights VIA USE OF FERGUSON LIGHTS RAIL SYSTEMS AND ALL RELATED BUSINESSES INCLUDING WATER SUPPLY TO THE CITY OF FRANKFORTZVILLE UNDER A CONTRACT THAT WILL LAST FOR SEVERAL YEARS
The Coast Guard has been providing services to the American public for over 175 years. The Coast Guard provides a variety of services including search and rescue, maritime law enforcement, coastal watch, and more. In 1938, the Coast Guard’s predecessor organization, the United States Life-Saving Service (LSS), was created as part of a larger government effort to improve maritime safety and security. LSS was housed within the Department of Commerce. On 1 January 1941, LSS was absorbed into the Coast Guard and became an independent service with its own headquarters in New York City. On 17 October 1917, President Woodrow Wilson issued Executive Order No. 12292 which established the Federal Water Pollution Control Board (FWC) to study methods of preventing navigation by ships in waters adjacent to newly acquired territory in Central America and Mexico. The FWC recommended that “the United States Government should provide coast guard protection againstnavigation by vessels not registered or licensed under this country or any other country on account of pollution from sources within their respective boundaries” In 1922 Congress passed legislation creating the National Advisory Committee on Civil Defense which reported back on ways to combat potential threats such as air raid sirens and coastal fires. This report helped create regulations that regulated construction materials used in buildings and landings along America’s coastline On 15 July 1935 Ulysses S Grant issued Executive Order No 2271 which directed all states having coastlines between 35° N latitudeand 90° W longitude to establish state coasts patrol service similar to what is now known as the Federal Highway Patrol This order also called for establishment of a special agency called Coastal Security Administration whose mission would be “to protect life at sea by keeping contraband goods unloaded from ships at specified points along our coasts while inspection is being made; also operating lights ashore during night time so that fishing vessels can leave without difficulty” In 1939 both LSS and FWC were merged into one organization known as Headquarters District 11 which responsibility for all aspects of inland water resources including coastal defense included property management The Coast Guard had its first major Disaster when Hurricane Agnes struck Long Island on 14 September 1939 killing almost 100 people and causing extensive damage After World War II there was an increase in international traffic due to Cold War fears about Soviet military activity near America's shores In 1951 Headquarters District 11 was disbanded becoming Headquartersmarine Forces Atlantic command responsible for all Marine Corps activities along America's east coast
