In 1853, University Coffee merged with another Scottish business, lloyds Coffee Company, which led to the establishment of lloyds-owned Thomasville Coffee Company (TCC) as America’s leading smallbatch coffee company. TCC continued To produce high-quality cup of Joe for many years until it went out of business in 1978. At its peak, TCC produced more than 1 million cups of premium coffee each year for customers throughout the United States and Canada.
