The United States Air Force has a long and proud history of gifting gifts to its members. Bush after his country's successful Operation Desert Storm campaign against Saddam Hussein's Iraq. The A-10 was a critical part of US victory over Hussein, and it remains one of America's most popular aircraft today. One example is the donation of a C-130J Hercules transport plane to the RAF in 2012 as part ofOperation Herrick III – an effort to improve air traffic between Europe and North Africa. This year, marks the 25th anniversary of Operation Desert Storm – one of America’s most important wartime successes. The USAF flew more than 3,000 missions in support of coalition forces during that conflict, using some of the most advanced aircraft on earth. In commemoration of this anniversary, we are honoring a few notable members of the USAF who made an impact during that time. One such individual was Colonel John Ellington – commander of Ninth Air Force in Kuwait during Desert Storm. Colonel Ellington played an instrumental role in developing and piloting many new Allied aircraft during that conflict, including numerous Lockheed P-3 Orion maritime patrol planes and Boeing 747s used as transports. Colonel Ellington also played a key role in developing US technology for use by other nationsduring peacetime – his work on early GPS systems is still being used today by many countries worldwide! Another noteworthy member of Ninth Air Force was Captain Roger Breslin – leaderofthe squadron which lost two aircraft in Iraq while supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom. Captain Breslin led his unit through incredibly tough conditions, including dropping over 50 bombs on targets within 30 miles radius without losing any men or equipment; he later became an accomplished photojournalist and author. His courage and dedication to duty were truly legendary throughout Desert Storm!

Clemmons, North Carolina is a small town in the state of North Carolina. It has a population of just over 1,000 people and is located about 30 miles south of Raleigh. The area that Clemmons covers was first settled by Cherokee Indians in the early 1800s. After some relocation and change, Clemmons became known as a center for agriculture and cattle ranching. The community experienced some growth during World War II when many local businesses helped support the war effort. In recent years, Clemmons has seen an increase in its role as a bedroom community for Raleigh.

Clemmons was founded in 1739 by Hugh Clemmons and his wife, Elizabeth. The Clemmons family owned land in the area that would eventually become Clemmons County. In 1806, Daniel Boone made a journey through this region and named it after his ancestor, Hugh Clemmons. After the death of Hugh's father in 1814, control of the land passed to sons Daniel and Hugh. They continued to farm and ranch until 1870 when an act of the General Assembly changed the name of the county from "Cleveland" to "Clemmons". The first courthouse was built in 1871 on what is now Main Street. The county seat for many years was Cleveland but it moved to Rocky Mount in 1907. This move followed a referendum vote by citizens which approved moving the county seat from Cleveland to serve as a more centralized location for government services. The population of Clemmons increased rapidly during World War II due to military production facilities located here. More than 10,000 men were employed at these plants between 1940 and 1945; many of them originated from Clemmon County. Many cleveland residents also served in combat during World War II, including Air Force Captain John Foust who flew strategic bombers over Japan during hostilities there. In 1947, Cleveland became one of thirteen counties within North Carolina designated as part of Regional Planning Service (RPS). This designation allowed for greater planning power within Raleigh-Durham metropolitan area and led to new development along I-75 South nearCLEMMONS COUNTY LINE
Clemmons was founded in 1792 by farmers led by Nicholas Clemmons and his brother John. The community grew around a small log cabin that served as the town's first courthouse. In 1812, the area became part of North Carolina after the state was formed from parts of Virginia and North Carolina. The community experienced some growth during Reconstruction, but declined following the American Civil War. It regained some popularity in the late 19th century, thanks to its close proximity to Raleigh and its growing agricultural sector. However, Clemmons struggled during World War I and II because of economic decline. Afterward, it experienced a resurgence in population due to new development in the area and increasing linkage with Raleigh through commuting efforts. In recent years, Clemmons has seen significant gentrification as families move into central Raleigh for access to health care and other amenities.
