Purchasing coffee beans from a local artisan coffee shop is one of the most unique experiences you can have in the Triangle Region. These shops offer a unique and flavorful experience, with each cup carefully roasted and hand-selected by the proprietor. There are many different types of artisan coffee shops in Cary, North Carolina, but the three that we will discuss here are The Beanman Coffee Shop on Duke Street, The Flying Dutchman Coffee Shop on Spruce Street, and The Roasterie on Durham Street. The Beanman Coffee Shop was opened in 1978 by Bob Sheppard. At its peak, the shop operated out of two locations - one on Duke Street in downtown Cary and another at 12th and Market Streets in uptown Raleigh. It was later moved to its current location on Durham Street in 2003. Along with its extensive selection of roasts - both dark roast and light roast - The Beanman also served a variety of sandwiches (including paninis), pastas, salads, desserts, drinks, and other items throughout the day. The Flying Dutchman Coffee Shop is located just off Interstate 95 south of downtown Raleigh near Wake Forest University. This business started operations in 1984 by Rick DeBakey as a small café serving only espresso drinks and donuts until he met his future wife Linda at a party at her sorority house while they were studying for their senior exams together. After moving into their own place within sight of campus they added beer service (in 1994) and began selling baked goods such as cookies or pies until they finally opened up their business as an all-day coffee shop with seating for seventy people back then called "Netherlands Bakery." In 2006Rick retired from his position as President & CEO after twenty years; Linda took over as Chief Operating Officer responsible for all aspects of running the store including daily marketing initiatives which continue to this day along with providing support to employees through online resources available 24/7 including product guides/lists & videos covering everything from brewing methods to menu development to accountancy services etc... After nearly ten years closed down due to lack of patronage (& reopening briefly under new ownership before being closed again), Netherlands Bakery finally reopens for business Saturday mornings now operating out of three storefronts across town including one right next door where formerly housed Bob's Cafe during school hours! Rick DeBakey continues serve espresso drinks & pastries until about 2pm today while Linda takes care of baking tasks upstairs& hosting live music every Saturday morning @ 10am thru 3pm starting fresh off Pedestrian Walkway nearby... A true story worth telling! In addition to its wide selection (> sixty brands)of roasts along with several dozen sandwiches (including panini), salads (+ side dishes), desserts (+ tea or coffee ), Netherlands offered Wizard Waffles back when it first opened up(1986) which featured cinnamon roll dough filled with cream cheese icing & frosting made from sweetened condensed milk whipped cream instead thereof like all those Starbucks Waffles these days! These Coffees typically require around 2-4 hours per pound to brew, making them medium-strong with a bitter taste. Light roastartisan coffees tend to be milder in taste and can be brewed quickly at around 1-2 hours per pound. They have a sweet taste with a more mellow finish. The origins of artisan coffee can be traced back to when small farmers started roasting their own beans on their own premises in the 1800s. Over time, these farms grew larger and began producing large quantities of Kaufman Coffee (a brand name used by several hundred small farmers across America). As larger businesses became interested in acquiring Kaufman Coffee, they began buying smaller farms so they could continue roasting their own beans on site. Today, many small farmers still use this same method of roasting their beans which results in high quality artisan coffee products that are enjoyed by both consumers and professionals alike!

Cary is one of the most populous municipalities in Wake County and also one of its fastest-growing places. The city was founded in 1836 by Scotsmen who arrived on horseback from Scotland and became prosperous as coffee merchants. It quickly grew into a major tobacco center and now has over 100 businesses employing more than 4,000 people. Today, Cary remains anundersized city with a small population but large potential for growth. With strong economic development prospects and an expanding cultural scene, it is likely that the city will continue to grow large over time. In addition to its important Economic Development role in Wake County, Cary continues to be home to many significant institutions including Duke University, UNC Chapel Hill and many other top-tier universities.
The coffee industry has a long and varied history, with different origins and techniques used to produce the bean. Some of the earliest coffee bean growers were in Sumatra, where cherries were gathered and roasted before being exported to Java. The story goes that one man named Javanese trader Sunan Kolokolo obtained some of the best cherries in the region and began roasting them himself. This process produced a very light-bodied coffee with a smallish cup size, which was then sold all over Java. In the 16th century, Portuguese traders arrived in Java and started trading with local tribes. They discovered that the local people had a strong tradition of making their own coffee, using only natural resources like fruit trees and spices. They also found that this coffee was much better than what they were getting from Europe or India. So, they started importing large quantities of beans from Africa for refining into espresso (the first espresso machine was built in Italy in 1795). Eventually, Dutch traders became interested inJava too, and started trading with the locals as well. They found out that the local people had another important crop called groundnuts (which are now known as nuts). So, they began growing these crops instead of buying beans from Europeans or Africans. This way, they could get better quality beans at a lower price point! By 1817, there were more than 100 coffee shops operating throughout Java! These stores served both European and Indian customers alike. The Dutch also began exporting their beans to other parts of Asia including China and Japan. In 1839, Indonesia became an independent country after becoming part of Holland during its time as part of Southeast Asia (although Indonesian independence wasn’t recognized by most countries until 1949). Therefore, Indonesian Coffee is considered to be its own separate industry!

The two earliest European settlers in North America were Christopher Columbus and his crew who discovered the New World in 1492 and landed on Santa Maria de la Antigua, Hispaniola, which is now Haiti. They brought with them some of the first coffee beans to Europe. In 1776, Captain James Cook sailed by Cape Horn and when he returned to England found that there was no more land to be found in Australia but instead a vast new continent called NZ (New Zealand). He named it after himself - James Cook's Peninsula - and began to plant coffee trees there.
Cary, North Carolina is a town in and the county seat of Buncombe County, North Carolina. The population was 21,812 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Raleigh-Durham-Fayetteville metropolitan area. Cary was founded by Scots-Irish settlers in 1795 as a small village on the Hiwassee River in what is now Buncombe County. The first courthouse was built in 1801 and it became the county seat in 1827. The town rose to prominence during World War II as a defense center due to its location on I-75 and its proximity to Fort Bragg. The town also played an important role during Reconstruction, when Cary hosted many political and social leaders such as Governor Tryon and Congressman John Lewis. After the war, Cary experienced rapid growth, becoming one of the most heavily populated cities in North Carolina for a time. However, economic turmoil beginning in the late 1990s led to significant declines in Population Growth rates over time which have contributed significantly to decreases in housing stock and infrastructure development opportunities since then. In recent years there has been an increasing trend towards revitalization efforts with some hope that these initiatives may lead to additional population growth over time
