Small batch coffee has been a part of the American landscape for over 100 years. The first small-batch coffee was made in Suffern, New York in 1892 by two farmers, John and Edwin Booth. The couple started a small roasting business that quickly became successful. Over time, other towns and villages began to establish their own small-batch coffee programs as well. In 2000, the National Coffee Association awarded Small Batch Coffee Awards to twelve communities across the United States for their excellence in small batch brewing. Today, small batch coffee is an important part of many people's daily lives and continues to be a popular choice forourmet brewers looking for quality product at an affordable price point.

Suffern, New York is a small village in the town of Suffern, New York. The population was 1,752 at the 2010 census. It is one of two villages in the town and it is also home to the only shopping center in town. The Village of Suffern was first settled by Germans in 1784. They built a log cabin on what is now Main Street and named their settlement "Grunwald" after their farmhouse which still stands today. In 1851, Swiss immigrants arrived and began to settle here as well. A post office was established at Suffern in 1857 and remained until 1959 when it was moved to Norwich. In 1915, suffern became part of the new Town of Suffern with a population of 2,500 residents. At that time there were just 10 businesses in downtownsuffern while there are over 100 businesses now including several high-end stores like Macy's and Neiman Marcus which opened within the last ten years or so! One reason for this growth has been suffERN's location - right next to Interstate 87 (the main north-south artery through town) making it easy for tourists to visit all that Suffern has to offer! Additionally, suffERN has become very popular for family reunions as well - many people from nearby towns come hereto stay during vacation season!

Suffern, New York is a town in Fulton County, New York, United States. The population was 7,365 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Syracuse-New Rochelle-Oneida, NY Metropolitan Statistical Area. Suffern was founded in 1810 by Germans who had immigrated to the area from Germany and Austria. The first settler in Suffern was Wilhelm Hagenauer. In 1827, Daniel Sanger arrived in Suffern with his family and started a general store. In 1843, John Fenton bought a farm on what is now Fifth Avenue near Sunnyside Drive for $1,500 dollars. He named it Fenton's Farm after his father-in-law, Jacob Fenton (1788–1868). In 1847 or 1848 Samuel Darragh erected a log house on what is now Main Street close to where he operated his mill; this was the first permanent structure in Suffern. This building served as the town hall until it burned down around 1870. In 1861 or 1862 Augustus Buhler settled here and built a small frame cottage which he used as his home until 1886 when he moved into an old brick house on Second Street which he still uses today as his office and residence. In 1865 or 1866 Julius Wiegandt came here from Bohemia and began to grow potatoes for sale at his store on Third Street between Eighth Avenue and Seventh Avenue; this enterprise became successful enough that Wiegandt decided to build himself a larger structure on Fourth Street between Seventh Avenue and Sixth Avenue which he called Wiegandt's Store; this business continued until 1893 when it burned down due to arson by local teenagersaged 10–14 years old who thought their parents were too busy playing games to notice them setting fires inside the business). For many years prior to 1898 there were no telephone lines in any of north central New York so residents had to walk several miles each way into Syracuse or Oneida County just to get their mail (the only telephone service available east of Buffalo) . In 1901 Samuel Gentry opened Gentry's Department Store on Main Street between Eighth Ave./Seventh Ave./Sixth Ave.; this store continued until 1975 when it closed due mainly to competition from larger stores within walking distance such as Safeway/PepsiColeMart etc.. Gentry also operated various other businesses such as meat market/butcher shop/diner before selling all these operations together in 1978 for $2 million USD . Gentry Hall currently stands vacant next door across from Safeway & CooleyMart

Suffern is a town in Erie County, New York, United States. The population was 1,815 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Buffalo–Niagara Falls Metropolitan Statistical Area. The first settler in Suffern was John Dunlap and his family who arrived in 1795. In 1814, Joshua Ledyard erected a small log cabin on the east side of the village green which still stands today as part of the local Historical Society Museum. In 1825, Daniel Snyder bought 640 acres (250 hectares) around what is now Suffern from fur trader George Armstrong Caddo for $8 per acre. He named it "The Town of Snyder". On July 3, 1830, Snyder sold additional land to Moses Chapman for $6 per acre and built a gristmill on the stream that flows through town center which became known as Dixon Mill. In 1834-35 David Mclntyre built a large frame building on Main Street south of present day Lafayette Catholic Church which served as Post Office from 1835 until 1865 when mail service moved to Rochester because of construction projects along that route. In 1850 Samuel Proctor opened an Odd Fellows' Lodge No 2 with meeting hall and orchard north of present day Presbyterian church on state road 5 near present day Schoolhouse Hill Road On October 8th 1861 during America's Civil War Abraham Lincoln was assassinated by John Wilkes Booth at Ford's Theatre in Washington D.C., leaving office one year before his inauguration as Ulysses S Grant's Vice President four years after his election as president
