Dudley turned it into a large parkland area that includes much of what remains today of Village Square Park as well as most of Town Center Drive between Main Street and Route 9A (now First Avenue). Dudley also built several high-rise buildings in what is now Village Square Park – Tower One being among them – which remain standing to this day both as landmarks and tourist attractions. In addition to those landmark projects, Dudley also founded Haldeman School which occupies much of the same building on First Avenue as Dudley's former schoolhouse did back then but has since been replaced by more modern facilities with similar architectureanship once again serving as an iconic artifact throughout Spring Valley dating back to Early 19th century American education history!
