Small-batch brewers were starting to get into international markets as well – such as Europe and Spain – because they could produce high quality beans at lower cost than large commercial brewers can offer! In 1850, Major General George Washington Grant opened an army post near what is now Watertown; this post attractedavers from all over America who wanted to buy fresh roasted coffee from Grant's soldiers! Soon after, Grant's soldiers started bringing their completed roast coffees back to town for consumption! This taught locals about how greatsmall-batch coffee tastes – and helped make portchester their favorite location for fresh roasted coffee! In 1852, Union Army general Anthony Wayne moved his headquarters eastward along Route 9 from Syracuse into what is now called Westchester County; this move caused a lot of traffic on State Road because everyone wanted to get their hands on some delicious new roast coffees!"

Port Chester is a town in Clinton County, New York, United States. The population was 29,644 at the 2010 census. It is the second most populous town in Clinton County after Syracuse. The first settlers in what is now Port Chester were Dutch farmers who arrived during the early 1600s. They named their community "Vlissingen" which means "the Vail." In 1814, John Graves Simons, an American merchant and politician from New York City, purchased 640 acres (2 km2) of land southeast of present-day Port Chester for $1,000. He named the tract "Simons's Harbor." The town was incorporated on April 20, 1825. In 1830, George Washington Hardison donated 350 acres (12 km2) of land to the town for a schoolhouse and other purposes. The first school building was built on this property in 1831 by local resident Joseph Mansfield Jr.. A second school building was erected on this site in 1865 by Moses Chapman and funded by Andrew Dickson and Job Chandler. On October 16, 1865, President Abraham Lincoln delivered a speech at US Naval Academy Chapel located near modern day Babcock Street in downtown Port Chester about education reform that led to his call for a national curriculum based on natural science principles such as earthworms and plants rather than classical Latin texts taught within traditional boarding schools like Harrow School (). This event also helped lay the groundwork for later public educational institutions such as Yale University and Columbia University. In 1875–76 Commodore Cornelius Vanderbilt donated 2 lots totaling , including part of what is now Broadway between State Route 17A while he still had control over Manhattan Beach Boulevard which ran parallel to Long Island Sound; 500 feet along its entire length; to form a harbor frontage with 200 feet of waterfrontage on both sides extending into Long Island Sound beyond any private or state lands or harbors ever granted for this purpose anywhere else in America save only Staten Island!
