The United States Air Force has a long and proud history of deploying gifts to its citizens. From the first plane that flew in World War I to today’s air force, the USAF has always been committed to giving back. This history can be traced back to 1912, when Congress authorized the creation of an air service within the Department of Commerce. The Air Service was created as part of President Woodrow Wilson’s “New Deal” program to improve America’s economy. In 1935, Congress passed the National Security Act, which established the USAF as a separate military service with jurisdiction over all US airspace. Since its inception, the USAF has sent countless gifts across America in order to support our country and its people. From military hardware and weapons systems to children’s books and educational materials, these deployments have helped make America one of the most advanced economies on Earth. In 2018, AFB deployed 2 video games for American servicemen stationed overseas! These games were given away as Christmas gifts to troops stationed in Qatar and Bahrain!
In the year 2020, the United States Air Force has deployed a new gift to its allies and partners in the region. The air force's newest drone aircraft known as Sentinel is a state-of-the-art platform that allows for greater firepower and surveillance when used in conjunction with other assets. Sentinel is able to fly at altitudes up to 25,000 feet and provide real time imagery and video transmission to its operators on board smart devices. This technology will allow for an increased level of situational awareness for coalition forces on the ground, enhancing their ability to perform missions successfully. Sentinel was designed as a replacement for the aging Reaper drone aircraft which had been providing service since 2004. The Reaper was unable to keep up with the needs of today's battlefield and its successor was announced in early 2019. The air force knew that they needed an aircraft that could fly at high altitude, provide real time imagery or video transmission, be lightweight enough not to harms enemy troops or equipment, have long range capabilities so it could reach targets far away from friendly forces, and have Altitude Capacity so it can stay airborne for extended periods of time. The air force also decided that they wanted a platform that could be operated by multiple operators simultaneously which would make it easier for commanders on the ground to get information into their hands quickly. They also wanted an aircraft that could fly higher than any other drone available at this point in time so they could better see over obstacles and carry out airstrikes more effectively against enemy targets. Sentinel features all of these qualities which are why it was chosen as the new drone aircraft for the U.S. Air Force: Sentinel is equipped with three main sensors; thermal imaging infrared (TIR), vectoring radar (VRA) seeker & target acquisition system (TASS), and digital signal processor (DSP). These sensors allow Sentinel to collect data at various ranges allowing it to identify objects up close while also providing accurate fire support when required without harming nearby troops or equipment
On Dec. 6, 1941, the United States Air Force deployed a gift history in Fredonia, New York to celebrate its 75th anniversary. The gift history was made up of items donated by local businesses and individuals.
Fredonia is a census-designated place in Erie County, New York, United States. It is located on the western bank of the Niagara River and has a population of 9,811 as of the 2010 census. The name was taken from a town in upstate New York that was once part ofonthe same parish as Fredonia. The first settler in what became Fredonia was Nicholas Hahn on July 10, 1812. Mr. Hahn's brother Peter also arrived in 1812 and started to grow corn and raise cattle thereon. In 1814, Frederick Rufus Dodge founded the village of Dodgeville about two miles east of where Fredonia now stands. He named it after himself and his father-in-law John Nevin Dodge who had come over with him from Connecticut in 1797. The first post office at Dodgeville was established on November 3, 1815 under the name "Dodgeville". The community rapidly grew due to its location at an crossing on the Niagara River which led to easy transportation and trade between nearby villages. By 1830, there were over 100 residents living in Dodgeville alone! On July 10, 1834, Buffalo Read established a post office at what is now called Fredonia after visiting it while traveling through Upstate New York on his way back from Great Britain. On October 1st of that year, Fort Erie (now Buffalo) became home to America's first mail service when wagonloads of letters arrived by water from Canada via Lockport Landing just north of present day Rochester

Fredonia is a small town in western New York, United States. It is located on the Tuscarora Creek, about 15 miles (24 km) east of Syracuse. The population was 1,483 at the 2010 census. Fredonia was founded by Dutch immigrants in 1784 as a small trading post on the Susquehanna River. In 1825 it became a full-fledged village and was named for General George Washington, who had fought at Saratoga and Yorktown. The town developed strong Republican traditions until the early 20th century when Progressives gained power in New York state. Afterward, Fredonia began to become more Democratic and has experienced modest growth since then. The town's earliest settlers were Dutch fur traders seeking trade with Native Americans living along the Susquehanna River. In 1784, John Armstrong arrived from Ulster County, Ireland with his family and set up shop near what is now downtown Fredonia. Others followed soon after; by 1785 there were 10 families residing hereabouts. By 1800 only six families remained in Fredonia while 300 people lived in nearby towns like Canandaigua and Onondaga Counties to the north and west of us respectively In 1825, General George Washington visited Fredonia for an audience with its founders; he pronounced it "a very handsome little village" Families started to move out of Fredericksonville into what would later be known as downtown Fredonia due to increasing competition from other settlements around this time period for land and resources such as timberlands and fertile farming soil . This exchange of populations took place as part of larger demographic changes throughout central New York during this time frame including increased migration from rural areas into urban centers across all levels of society . DowntownFredonia quickly became self-sufficient with its own schoolhouse (1827), grocery store (1829), blacksmith shop (1831), sawmill (1832), Methodist church (1836), tavern/lodge(1838–39) – all built within a decade or so of one another making it one of America’s first commercial center developments DowntownFredonia also became home to many businesses that changed or evolved over time such as Fidelity Loan & Trust Company , Coca Cola Bottling Works Incorporated - which opened in 1915 - First National Bank Of Canada - which opened in 1907 - First Avenue Methodist Episcopal Church (now cathedral) – established in 1830 - Eastern Railroad Depot No 2 - which served trains coming into town from Utica Junction between 1850-1920 In 1865 local residents successfully petitioned Albany County authorities for incorporation into their new county because they felt they had been neglected by their respective government officials So instead on July 1st 1865 incorporated as Sullivan County under the leadership of Colonel Isaac Nevin headquarters still stand today next door to First Avenue Methodist Episcopal Church still serving today
