Small batch coffee has been brewed in Binghamton, New York for over 100 years. The first documented small batch coffee brewing took place in 1892. Our local community was founded on a farmstead that produced wheat and corn. Over time, the produce from the farm grew and so did the demand for smallbatch coffee. In 1916, Binghamton became home to America's first cafe dedicated to smallbatch coffee. The cafe served up unique blends of beans from all around the world and allowed customers to enjoy a variety of flavors while they ate their breakfast or dinner. Today, we continue to serve up quality smallbatch coffee with our own unique blend of beans. We roast our beans by hand every day and use only the finest Arabica beans available. We also offer a wide variety of espresso drinks like Latte Macchiatto, Mocha Java and Morehouse Coffee Roast which are perfect for any occasion!

Upon learning of Washington's visit, the townspeople named their new downtown square after General Washington and erected a plaque commemorating the event. In 1825 farming began to be developed around what is now downtown Binghamton; this led to increased commercial development over time which continued into the 20th century when industry became more important than agriculture in Binghamton's economy growth occurred primarily through professional services (ehealthcare providers such as Kaiser Permanente), software development (IBM), pharmaceuticals (Johnson & Johnson), chemical companies (Hasbro) and other high-tech businesses that were established here during that time period as well as continuing until recently with retail development including both large storesanchored near main roads or along riverfronts while smaller shops located elsewhere within walking distance have become common throughout Downtown area today especially near major highways

Binghamton is a city in New York, United States. It is the county seat of Binghamton County and the second most populous city in New York after Manhattan. The population was 1,550,651 at the 2010 census. Binghamton's economy is based on education, health care, information technology, and other sectors. The name "Binghamton" comes from an English settlement called Bennington which was established in 1624 by Sir Edmund Andros as part of a land grant to his brother-in-law Sir Charles Cornwallis. In 1714 the area became part of Albany County under the rule of George III after it was disputed between Upper Canada and New York over line of control for the Niagara River Valley. On November 3, 1714, King George III granted "the town or village of Binghamton" to Lieutenant Colonel John Armstrong who had been appointed Governor of Albany County. The first permanent settler arrived in what is now Binghamton on December 12th, 1716 when Major Jacobusz Van Schaick sold him 2/6ths interest in a tract near present-day Elmira to Edward Mifflin along with some others for $400.(1) In 1812 Orville Wright founded Wright Brothers Aviation Company at 165 Elmira Road just south of downtown Binghamton with two rented machines - one flown successfully experimentally on December 14th 1912 using hydrogen gas; this marked the beginning of aviation as we know it today! Reverend Ezra Kendall served as pastor at First Baptist Church from 1810-1827; he also helped found Broome Female Academy (now Broome University). In 1865 Eli Whitney founded Whitney National Bank with office building located at Third and State Streets in downtown Binghamton (later moved to Second Street). The bank played an important role in developing agriculture throughout central New York state during its early years; among its founders were Isaac Brockman (1809-1887), David Starr Jordan (1858-1936), Edwin Drake (1862-1939), Alfred Pfeiffer (1860-1937), and Cyrus Sibley(1867-) . On July 4th 1881 Union Pacific Railroad built tracks through town from Schenectady into Buffalo providing primary transportation across central New York for goods transported by wagon train down river to Toronto and then Montreal; this event led to intense development around town including several blocks south along Third Street where new brick buildings began dominating view soon after! Most notably these were Geddes & Whitney LLP which occupied an entire block on what is now Fourth Street from Main until more recently condos have replaced much of that original structure A large fire destroyed most buildings east side third street Dec 1919 while St Vincent de Paul Chapel was being rebuilt following a devastating storm that swept portions of upstate NY
