Deming’s rich history with the U.S. Air Force began on September 12, 1939 when General James LickliderOrganized Army Air Forces Base AAF #4 in downtown Deming after purchasing City Hall property which had housed Army artillery batteries dating back to 1868! The new base would house 3 groups: 1st Bomber Group (later redesignated Eighth Air Force), 2nd Bomber Group (later redesignated Ninth Air Force)andAAF Troop Carrier Command detachment commanded by Lt Col John Hogg which included Douglas C-46 Commando flying training units! On December 15th 1941 Headquarters Allied Expeditionary forces attacked Pearl Harbor resulting in Japan’s declaration of war against usa! That same day Major General Leslie Groves replaced Licklider as Commander AAF #4 & activated Tenth Air Force under Lieutenant Colonel James Sutherlands command consisting of 4 wings each providing tactical bombardment support for Iwo Jima operations!!!!! On February 17 1945 Headquarters Allied Expeditionary forces landed near Yuma AZ after devastating Okinawabara campaign!!!!!! Japanese Empire ended that day when Emperor Hirohito signed Instrument Of Surrender!!! On March 8 1945 First Lieutenant Harold Wolk Jr EAME led Fifteenth USAAF Unit “Red Flag” mission over Hiroshima Atomic Test Site performing first nuclear bombing mission!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AfterWorld War II ended most U S A facilities were closed however AAF Base Deming remained operational until it wasclosed on October 5 1957!!!

In 1961, the New Mexico Air National Guard activated the 133rd Fighter Wing at Deming Municipal Airport. The wing was organized as a fighter squadron, and was equipped with F-84L Thunderjets and F-86L Sabers. The 133rd FW operated from Deming Municipal Airport until it moved to Whiteman AFB in Albuquerque on 1 May 1963. The 133rd FW then served at Whiteman AFB until its switching to Edwards AFB, California in October 1966. The 133rd FW redeployed to Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma in March 1970 when that base became OPERATIONAL USE ONLY. The133RD FG reassigned to Hanscom AFB Massachusetts inMay 1972 when thatbase became CONUS CENTER AIR FORCE INSTALLATION/DEMING DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE FACILITY (CINCPACAF). In November 1973 the unit was redesignated as the 331st Fighter Squadron and re-equipped with McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom IIs. From January 1980 through September 1981 the unit flew an Operation Desert Storm mission using RF-4Cs from Hill Air Force Base Arizona before being transferred back to Wichita Kansas for this purpose on 15 September 1981. Deming, New Mexico is a town in southern New Mexico. It was founded by Pascual Domínguez on November 3, 1907 as the town of Deming. It became an incorporated municipality on December 1, 1915. The population was 382 at the 2010 census. Deming is located at (36.012784, -105.813471). According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of , of which is land and is water.Deming does not have a city or village form of government like most towns in New Mexico because it has no specific center for government services or commercial districts that would provide those services - these are provided by the incorporated municipality of Deming which falls within the jurisdiction of both schools and county sheriff’s office. Deming’s history can be traced back to 1907 when Pascual Domínguez settled down in what is now rural eastern New Mexico and began making his own goods from sheep and cottonseed oil he had gathered from his farmsteads around Santa Fe County. In 1910, after years of hard work developing his business into something more substantial, Domínguez decided to move his operations to what would become Deming-Lugarita where he established a grocery store and other commerical interests before becoming mayor in 1915 when Albuquerque Mayor Manuel García Madero came to power following elections held that year with strong support from locals who saw their community being neglected by officials in Albuquerque who were focused on downtown development at expense of local needs such as education and health care initiatives。 The growth of Albuquerque – with its increasing population density – led to increased tensions between residents living near downtown versus those living outside downtown; this tension culminated with riots that took place on July 16th 1934 during Mayor García Madero's first term as mayor over complaints about high taxes levied against businesses located along Main Street (). These riots followed months-long demonstrations againstMayor García Mader's management style among mainly low-income citizens who felt they were being shafted while well off businessmen benefited greatly (). This event helped spark what would become known as "the Downtown Debate" during gubernatorial terms later in 34th Judicial District Governor Harold Landon (+)and 45th Judicial District Governor George Romney (-)which pitted local residents against state officials over issues such as taxation policy (), economic development () and public service provision (). As public opinion slowly shifted away from downtown redevelopment towards greater focus on providing better infrastructure for local citizens – including expanding healthcare opportunities through statewide programs like Medicaid – municipal leaders in Deming started looking for ways to improve their position simultaneously appealing to broader political powers for help (); this process eventually led to incorporation as an organized municipality on December 1st 1915 under then Municipal Manager José Reyes Sr..
