Woodbury is a town in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 8,362 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Philadelphia metropolitan area. The first settler in what would become Woodbury was John Evans who arrived in 1784. The town was founded on December 12, 1800 by James Kellar and William Davies as a result of an act of Congress that granted land to Revolutionary War veterans. On November 4, 1802 the town became a county township with the same name when it merged with Cumberland Township. The first mayor was James Caldwell and the first treasurer was George Aiken. The Delaware and Monmouth Railroad reached Woodbury in 1853 and soon after began providing transportation for agricultural goods along what would become known as "the Line". In 1854, incorporation occurred when residents voted to rename themselves "Woodbury" after General Nathan Bedford Forrest's home state of Virginia. One of Woodbury's earliest businesses was its own grocery store which opened its doors on February 1st, 1903. That store would remain open until 1959 when it closed due to competition from larger stores located closer to the center of town. Other early businesses include two post offices (one built 1852), three churches (two Episcopal) and one mill (built 1850). In 1951-1952 an aluminum smelter operated in nearby Bensalem; this plant produced about 2 million pounds of Aluminum per year until it closed down in 1984 due to environmental problems. One industry that did well during this time period was cheese production which started out small but grew over time thanks to investments by local farmers into pasteurization processes and marketing efforts through local newspapers such as "The Daily Gazette" which offered free samples to readers throughout their coverage area vernacular cheese products were also popular items on menus at many local restaurants during this time including fish & chips at Joe's Place restaurant located across from High Bridge Shopping Center today woodburys favorite food!

Many small-scale roasters continue to produce quality beverages using traditional methods such as pressing (hand roasting) and fermentation under specific conditions; these processes give Rise's single origin beans their characteristic taste profile: light body with notes of sweet fruitiness and earthy bitterness.

Woodbury was a small town in New Jersey, located on the west bank of the Hackensack River. It was founded in 1795 by George Washington and his family, as part of the land grant that he received from King George II. The town grew steadily throughout its early years, thanks to its location and natural resources. In 1814, Woodbury became a borough, and in 1827 it became a city. Today, Woodbury is a significant community located within the Bergen County municipality of Paterson. The history of Woodbury begins with its founding by George Washington and his family. Washington's father had been born in Westmoreland County, Virginia, and he established himself as one of the most prominent landowners in that area before moving to New Jersey to join his son. As an adult, Washington acquired land east of Newark on what is now Delaware Avenue (now State Route 9). He named this tract "Woodbury", after his home state of Virginia. In 1795, when GW was given this land grant by King George II following the Revolutionary War victory over British forces at Saratoga Springs (in present-day New York), Woodbury likely stood little chance against other more important settlements around central NJ at that time. However, GW took great pride in his new property - Home Place - which he continued to improve over time until it became one of the most famous estates in all of New Jersey due to its natural beauty and strategic location near two key transportation hubs: Philadelphia and Trenton (then called "Trenton Township"). GW also began construction on what would become known as Capitol House - later renamed First Lady's House - which served as both home base for GW during his many official visits toNJ during these years as well as housing for members of Congress who toured the state during those days! The first phase of Capitol House's construction started in late 1796/early 97 under then-Mayor John Skelton Jr., but only finished about halfway through due to funding shortages caused by World War I; GNJ went into full swing soon thereafter! Ultimately however, Capitol House served primarily as GW's official office while still being used intermittently by local officials until it finally closed down completely in 1922 due to damage sustained during Hurricane Andrew! Finally completion came about 25 years later when civil engineers selected several lower floors (#22 – #34) including parts currently occupied by Bankers Life Field Office (BLFO) – eventually becoming landmark condominiums known collectively today simply as "Capitol Building" – despite never having housed any government entity whatsoever prior thereto! All told it took nearly 200 years for Capitol House / First Lady’s House / Capitol Building project from conception through occupancy & closure – making it one longest continuous NON-GOVtowned building ever completed anywhere!!!
Woodbury was founded in 1764 by John Woodbury and his wife Sarah. The town was named after the wooded area around it. In 1812, the township became a borough. On May 5, 1915, Woodbury amalgamated with nearby Rahway to form the new City of Rahway.
