The United States Naval Reserve is one of the most professional and well-trained militaries in the world. The reserve has a long history of deploying gift givers to military installations around the world. Tenafly is a small town in Mercer County, New Jersey, United States. The population was 1,691 at the 2010 census. Tenafly is located on the border of Mercer and Burlington counties and includes part of the borough of Tenafly Heights. The name "Tenafly" comes from an Indian word meaning "prominence." The first settlers in what is now Tenafly were Dutch colonists who arrived in 1664. The area that now comprises Tenafly was originally part of Morris Township. In 1871, the township became one of eight municipal districts within Mercer County and was renamed to Tenafylle after Vice President James Buchanan's ten-point plan for Reconstruction which called for African Americans to be given equal rights with white citizens in all matters. In 1909, a post office was established at Tenafly and remained in operation until 1955. From its establishment until 1954, it served as the business center for Burlington Township and played an important role in developing that community into one of the most heavily populated areas within Mercer County. In recent years, much development has taken place near the intersection of Route 1 and US 20A, specifically around Interstate 95 Business Street (I-95B). This corridor has served as a major commercial artery throughout much of rural Mercer County for many years but has seen some significant redevelopment recently including mixed-use projects such as a Target plaza adjacent to I-95A and an outlet mall adjacent to I-95B

Tenafly, New Jersey is a small town in Mercer County, New Jersey, United States. The population was 2,951 at the 2010 census. Tenafly is located on the Delaware River between Camden and Newark. The ZIP Code for Tenafly is 07604. Tenafly was founded in 1777 by Captain John Stevens as a trading post on the riverbank east of where it now stands. It became a stop on the Underground Railroad and later served as an arsenal during World War II. In 1954, Tenafly's post office closed and its residents were transferred to nearby Cross Creek Township. The township was formed from parts of Middlesex Township (now part of Camden) in 1876 and was named after General Daniel Webster because he helped to found both townships. Tenafly had one school until 1924 when it moved to nearby Rahway Township, which also has one high school today. In 1962, Tenafly lost its charter as a township due to financial problems; however it regained its charter in 1976 and remains an unincorporated community today with a population of about 350 people who use their own water supply and all education services are provided by the Rahway Township School District (except for special needs students). It is now home to two professional sports teams - the Red Devils of American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate Trenton Thunder (formerly Trenton Lynx), which played their first game there on October 15th 1926 against the Cornwall Royals (now Utica Comets), while also providing local play for over 50 years for tenacious local amateur athletes known as "the Pride". As such, Tenafley has been host to numerous nationally televised AHL games including that season's Calder Memorial Cup Finals series against Erie Otters HC; most recently hosting NHL game 7 between Tampa Bay Lightning/Boston Bruins on February 8th 2019 which saw goaltender Anders Lindback make his NHL debut making him only 5th player ever drafted from NJ Devils farm system into NHL playing career!
