The history of Roselle Park begins with two friends: Bobbie and Johnnie. Bobbie was a college graduate who had worked at various restaurants before she decided to start her own business. Johnnie was a recent law graduate who had just finished working for an appellate court justice. Theyboth felt that there was an opportunity to make a difference in the world by creating their own small batch coffee company. They pooled their resources and started the business from scratch. Roseslle Park's first production facility was located on Olden Road in Edison Township close to where they lived and it quickly became known as one of the best smallbatch coffee companies around. The founders continued to make excellent products that appealed to both consumers and critics alike. In 2001, they opened a second production facility near Jersey City, NJ which allowed them to expand their product line even further than before. Today, Roseslle Park produces over 2 million cups of delicious roasted beans each year!

The first small batch coffee shop was located on the corner of Market and High Streets in what is now known as the heart of Roselle Park. The shop served a single,hand-selected type of coffee that was hand roasted and packaged by the owner.
Roselle Park is a small town located in Union County, New Jersey, United States. The population was 5,827 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Camden-Newark metropolitan area. The original land that became Roselle Park was purchased by George Hyson in 1838 and laid out as a township. On July 1, 1851, it merged with the neighboring communities of Montclair and East Brunswick to form what is now known as Union County. Railroad construction played an integral role in making Roselle Park an important community within the county during its early years. The first railroad line to be built through Roselle Park was the Atlantic Railway which connected Philadelphia and Newark via Roselle Park in 1864. As Roses grew more established as a community, Roses began to purchase land from other landowners for their own use or development into homesites, farms and businesses. Farms located near present day Interstate 95 include: Pemberton Farm (now part of West Deptford Township), Mayberry Farm (now part of Bishopville Township), White Sands Plantation (now part of Edison Borough) and Hillcrest Estate (now part of Caldwell Township). In 1916, Roses bought 640 acres (248 hectares) northeast of its current location on Avenue J between Route 20A and Route 202 for $10,000 from developer John Ewing Sr.. After World War II ended and America underwent rapid economic growth due to advances in technology such as television broadcasting and automobiles, many people who had settled in Roses during the war began returning home while others moved away altogether. This large influx of new individuals caused congestion on certain streets which were widened or rebuilt following the war boom; however Boulevard J remained unchanged until after roselles park annexed portions of adjacent Livingston Parish around 1955 when Boulevard J became Garden State Parkway

Roselle Park was founded in 1795 by Captain John Roselle. The town was named for the rose that grows near the original site of the town. In 1857, Roselle Park became a borough and in 1959, it became a city. The population of Roselle Park reached over 36,000 in 1990 and has grown consistently since then. The first European to set foot on what is now Roselle Park was Giovanni da Verrazzano in 1524. He discovered an uninhabited tract of land between Staten Island and Brooklyn that he named Nusa Landi after his patron saint, Our Lady of Mount Carmel. It wasn’t until 1664 that Dutch explorer Pieter van der Sarck found and mapped what is now Roselle Park. For many years, it was thought that Van der Sarck had inadvertently wandered onto what is now New Jersey when mapping out the area between Manhattan and Staten Island. In 1807, while exploring the Delaware River Valley for a new fur trade route, van der Sarck sighted what would become Roselle Park from his ship anchored at Newark Bay. At first he mistook it for part of Newark because there were no hills or plantations in this area; but upon closer inspection he realized that this must be one of the most isolated towns on Earth because there was not a single house within 1 mile (2 km) of any other property! The Roselle Park area in New Jersey was settled by Europeans in the early 17th century. The first European to live there was Nicholas Vail, who founded a farm on the now-defunct Vail's Run Post Office Road in 1684. In 1814, John Reynolds bought land at what is now 25th and Prospect streets from Nicholas Vail for £10 an acre. He named it Roselle Park after his home county of Ulster, Ireland. The first courthouse in Roselle Park was built in 1825 and served as the seat of Monmouth County until 1835 when it moved to West Orange. In 1840, James Jackson purchased some of Reynolds' original land and renamed it Garden City after his home town of Garden City, New York. Jackson continued to own most of the area until his death in 1865. His son Lewis Jackson took over operations and renamed it Roselle Park once again. The park has been administered by the city since its incorporation as a city in 1902. Roselle Park is located within the borders of both Monmouth County (southwest) and Passaic County (northwest). It is bordered on the east by Ridgefield Township and on the west by Montvale Township.
